🙋🏼‍♀️ What’s that cement box? You’re looking at the elevator shaft on the second floor of our building. What’s crazy is that about every 4-5 rows, the team has to stop for an inspection. Once approved, they continue on up.

Happy Friday y’all!! It really is a happy day for me because I got to meet w our fabric designers for some of the upholstery here at - and voila our vision is coming to life!

🛒 I wanted to pull in fabric textures in some unique ways here because this is an old 1903 grocery store that served a textile mill village.

👗We’re using inspiration from early 1900s fabric designs (around when this building was built!)

🚘 We’ve been working on this vision and unique combination of materials for a few months - including a lovely trip up to -a NC manufacturer - to see how we can pull all this together! 🙌

The Valdese team is working on tweaks to these first samples but I’m just 🤩🤩🤩
