Charlotte showed out for the StrEATs Tasting Tour.

Big love to for bringing together chefs and vendors from all over the city—each stop was a reminder of how much talent is packed into our neighborhoods right now.

From longtime favorites to new names making serious noise, every bite delivered. We held it down at the Resident Culture booth, pouring b**rs all day and sharing samples of our while making our rounds (strictly for research). Safe to say Charlotte’s food scene is hitting a new level.

Appreciate everyone who came out to support, grabbed a b**r, and shared a plate or two with us.

Already looking forward to the next one!

Want to be a Mad Resident? YOU can imbibe — but for a limited time only!!

Maddash, our neighbor in the Market, teamed up with us before their last day in the space (yes, they’re moving 😭 but don’t worry… they won’t be far).

Introducing the Mad Resident 🥪 — pulled pork slow-braised in our Half As Lonely Stout, an imperial-ish pastry stout inspired by our Lonely Universe & Twice As Lonely BBA series. Brewed to be extra drinkable and crushable, with creamy coconut and bold cocoa nibs that bring rich and stouty depth to every sip and in this case, every bite.

Here’s how you do it:
👉 Grab the sandwich from Maddash
👉 Walk it over
👉 Pair it with a draft pour of Half As Lonely at our bar

This one’s only around for a short time, and so is Maddash in the Market — so don’t sleep on it. Come show them some love, raise a glass, and be a Mad Resident while you still can 🍻

While it's snowing outside, here's something to warm you up 🤍❄️

Handmade mozzarella sticks from our friends + our crisp Italian Pilsner: Riding For The Feeling = the kind of pairing that makes a snow day better 🌨️

Fresh pasta, melty mozz, fresh b**r... say less.

We're open until 5pm today - grab a brewski if you can make it out safely 🍻

If not, no worries. We'll see ya when the roads are clear and the cravings hit again 🍝🍺

Move over Bloody Marys… Micheladas have entered the chat. 🌶️🍺

We’re excited to team up with Sagrada Michelada — one of the 2025 HIIVE members and an immigrant-first business dedicated to sharing authentic flavor and heritage with the Carolinas.

This weekend, we’re serving our classic Island Time, a Mexican lime l***r, topped with Sagrada’s scratch-made michelada blend for the perfect pour.

Join us Saturday (11/22) for Sagrada Michelada tastings from 11am–3pm. We'll be behind the bar with micheladas flowing all day, 11am -10pm.

Come sip, support, and celebrate community.

¡Salud! 🍻
