PLEASE help me spread the word! Brookstone School is putting on an art show and they need to get the word out to artists all over the area.

It's a great opportunity for our local artists in so many ways!

The Following is from Art Show organizer:

CALL FOR ART --

Deadline for entries is October 10th.
We are putting together a high-quality art show, one which has meaning!

We are looking for artwork that uniquely shows the beauty of nature or depicts an element of a nurturing environment. It could be a breathtaking butterfly, a kind look in an eye, a teapot, the touch of a weathered hand, a garden, a tractor, a stack of classic books—anything that helps life thrive! Whether it be in the life of a plant, an animal, a child, or the soul!

The show will be curated by Joni Purk, the owner of Charlotte Fine Art Gallery.

The "Brookstone Art Affair!"
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, we will be holding a lovely reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres and fine wine. Tickets will be available soon at the website linked below. The winning artists of our Brookstone Art Affair will be there and the online auction of the chosen artwork will come to an end at 8:00 pm. It should be a great night. (A link for buying tickets will be available soon on the website below.)

All good things must come to an end, and for this five-star coffeehouse that time has come.

SWEET LIFE COFFEEHOUSE is setting sail and WE WILL BE CLOSING OUR SHOP by September's (2022) end.

We have enjoyed our time serving you and getting to know the artists, performers, dreamers and travelers who were the soul of our shop.

We loved hosting the art workshops, chess clubs, writing groups, book clubs, holiday parties. birthday parties, church events and so many other ways you all thought to use our community living room.

We have had so much fun and will walk away from this experience with precious memories that we will always cherish. Thank you.

EXTRA SPECIAL thanks for those of you who supported us through the pandemic. We would not have made it without you. We fought a good fight and your support encouraged us to keep going!

Yet our next chapter beckons. It's time for this family to take another leap of faith and Activate Plan B - Les' male modeling career!!

Come in, bid us farewell, and wish Les the best of luck on his next career move (he doesn't know Plan B is being activated 😜). Yet most importantly, please continue to show your support to the other local shop's in the area.
