Dear Charlotte, friends, and family,
It is with a heavy, but full heart that we must make this announcement: our last day being open for business will be December 18th, 2022.
We want to personally thank every single person who has supported us over the years; be it the loyal 3-4 times a week-ers, the live on the other side of town when they can-ers, or friends and family who are outside of Charlotte who support with following, likes, comments, and shares. This journey was nothing short of an adventure, and we have learned so much.
While we will be closing our brick and mortar, Around the World Cafe will live on through catering and pop-up events, so feel free to DM for details and keep following for updates on where we’ll be!
We will end by being open daily 11am-7pm, with the except of December 1st-6th where hours will be posted in a separate post while we are setting some affairs in order.
Again we couldn’t say THANK YOU loud enough or near enough times, but we’ll keep trying 🧋❤️🍵❤️🍨

Welcome to Walter’s weekly pick! Our new manager will suggest a weekly special for you to try! The first pick is the JasLong Milk Tea with Grass Jelly topping! Walter says it’s a delicate mix of our Jasmine Phoenix Pearl and Oolong Golden Flower teas with milk of choice! Grass Jelly (also referred to as Herbal Jelly) is sweetened with brown sugar just like boba, it’s the jelly texture version of boba! Come try it all week long!
