Every ingredient in this haul already has a job for Saturday!

Heirloom tomatoes for our Tomato Pie. Beets for a Beet, Goat Cheese & Walnut Salad. Eggplant going into a creamy Baba Ganoush. Peppers, onions, and herbs for our Green Mile Garden and Tropic Thunder Mango salsas.

And yes — we’re also bringing our famous Chicken Cakes with Creole sauce to sample and sell.

All of it comes from Boy & Girl Farms, a Union County grower and a Waxhaw Farmers Market staple. When the produce is this good, we don’t mess with it much, just let it shine.

Ok but have you SEEN the cinnamon roll focaccia yet?? 👀

Waxhaw farmers market exclusive, swirled with cinnamon sugar and it comes with a side of homemade cream cheese icing to drizzle (or smother, we don’t judge) once you get it home.

Morgan’s showing it off in the video today and before y’all come for us..yes we gave her one of her own. She missed the taste test yesterday and we weren’t about to let her live without knowing just how good it is! Come find it at the Waxhaw Farmers Market this weekend before it’s gone (it will be gone!)

Morgan with our Nana’s pot pie yesterday The sweet customer awe’s in the background made us giggle. She is so cute! Nana’s pot pie is our ⭐️

It’s been on the menu for 20 years. It’s the thing we hear about the most, which honestly we don’t take for granted. We don’t shy away from comfort food — we think it’s a compliment when someone prefers our Nana’s pot pie to their Nana’s pot pie!!

A lot of the people who grew up eating this one are now feeding it to their kids.
And when we ask new customers how they heard about us… a 1/4 of the time, someone brought them a pot pie when they needed it and they just had to find out where it came from.

That means the most to us. See that SK stamp on top? That’s us. Come find us! 🤍

Family lunch is one of the most important parts of the day at Switchin Kitchens! It’s when everything slows down just long enough to sit, eat, and connect.

Today it was classic comfort done right: grilled cheese and tomato soup, made extra special with sourdough jalapeño cheddar bread. Crusty, cheesy, and just a lil kick! Our staff loved it!!

We’re also in the middle of recipe testing a new tomato basil soup… and let’s just say it’s getting dangerously close to the menu. 👀
