Barrington's Restaurant opened in 2000 in the neighborhood setting of Foxcroft East in South Park. The first of Bruce Moffett's restaurants, Barrington's has topped the 'Best Of' lists around Charlotte for years. Inspired by his hometown of Barrington, Rhode Island, the intimate bistro-style restaurant features upscale, American cuisine along with a hand-selected wine list.

Barrington's is cozy and welcoming to all. Though space is limited in this 45-seat restaurant it feels more like you're hosting a dinner party in your home than dining in a restaurant. The restaurant prides itself on its comfortable feeling coupled with exceptional service.

Named 'Top for Food in Charlotte' in ZAGAT's 'Top Restaurants in America' Guide consistently since 2003. USA Today featured Barrington's, calling it one of the top restaurants in Charlotte, claiming "Chef-Owner Bruce Moffett's sumbime culinary imagination yeilds just-plain-wow New American fare." Southern Living featured Barrington's in a city profile on Charlotte, stating "this friendly, cozy, quiet spot treats you to fabulous flavors."

Last week Bruce Moffett had the opportunity to cook a celebratory dinner for winners of the Daytona 500 Auction in Daytona Beach, Florida. The event took place in the 1948 lounge, right beside the speedway, where guests enjoyed Bruce’s fresh summer salad, spaghetti, short rib, and basque cheesecake.

All proceeds went to funding SMA Healthcare (Stewart-Marchman-Act), a nonprofit organization which provides services for individuals seeking help with substance use disorders. These facilities offer various treatment programs, including counseling and recovery support services.

From the kitchen to the community, Moffett Restaurant Group is proud to support nonprofits like SMA Healthcare. Much gratitude to everyone who made this possible!
