As much as it hurts to say this....I think it is time......after 22 years at Derita Soda Shop and Grill, it is time to let it go......I want to thank everyone that has become my family, my support system and my friends over the past 22 years !!! This was a hard decision, but given my daughters new school time, my painful falling apart body and not being able to do breakfast anymore, it is the right decision.....a tough one, but the right one........I am going to miss seeing everyone every day and cooking for you all.....especially my guinea pigs that would taste test for me no matter what it was ! I especially want to thank everyone that has helped me get thru the past 5 years after mom's stroke.....as you can see, she is hard headed as hell, but keeps on going......we both really miss Pat Rodden who had been with me for 18 years before she went to heaven in December......a day doesn't go buy that me, mom or someone mentions Pat and how much we miss her ! Pat was a part of our family, and without her, it just hasn't been the same ! So, it is time to move on and maybe do something else....my family is important to me, especially my daughter, and she needs me more now that she is in middle school.....so wish me luck that I find a flexible job !!! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PAST 22 YEARS !!!!!!! I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU ALL !!!!
