SO… We’re dropping a very special and limited strawberry rhubarb flavor in pints exclusively at the market today from 2-6pm.

Thank you Freshlist for making it so dang easy to get local produce. This is the second of many new flavors using local produce and we couldn’t be more pumped about it.

As always it’s 100% dairy, egg & gluten free. Get it 🤩

SO... Every Seemingly Overzealous shop is unique in so many ways but the biggest detail that sets them apart is the mural that runs the entirety of each shop’s back wall. We’re so excited to finally share that is working with us to bring the Davidson shop to life 🎨✨ We’re grateful to get to know her and work with her on this. She’s amazing! How’d we get here? Well, choosing the artists we work with is actually really personal for Jess & I. It’s not a throwaway decision. When we first experienced each artist’s work it left us with an emotional reaction. We both just knew we needed to find a way to work with them. For all 5 artists we’ve worked with so far we’ve experienced their art first and then in meeting them it solidified the way their work made us feel.

We always hope that you don’t see the work on the walls as merely wallpaper but something that has a human behind it with lots of stories. We hope that it leaves you feeling something... at the bare minimum, joy

Thanks to , , , & Esther for bringing all their talents to our shops. We’re grateful for the artist community that brings Charlotte to life. Thank you to for leading the tour of Luminous Lane that led us to Esther in the first place. The final slide is from that tour. If you haven’t done that tour it’s 100% worth your time.

SO… Our collaboration with Banks & is baaaaaaack! OTTER THiS WORLD is vanilla with chocolate chip cookie dough & blue sprinkles. SO… let’s talk about our popup with .bru. The video is sped up a bit so you don’t get stuck listening to me for too long.

SO much went well. First, BRÜ crushed what they do. It was impressive to watch. Second, cinnamon rolls from were exceptional as always. We take a bake them but he does the heavy lifting. Third, when the food came out it was great. Fourth, affogatos were a hit and I look forward to doing them again. Fifth, the SO team was amazing. They had no clue what they were up against. Lastly, y’all were soooooo kind even after waiting forever. We’re grateful for you.

What went wrong? Pancakes and waffles took way too long. I’m ok with 20-30 minutes but an hour or so is just too long. We were late to get in because we tinkered too long in the kitchen even after starting around 4am. We needed more time in the space to test & get some food ready to roll the second the pop up started. We had 4 irons but only two worked. We also should’ve tested that the day before.

What else can we do better? We need more quick options. Hot food will always take some time to cook but we could take the sting off that wait by having more baked goods like muffins and such. We have plans. Stay tuned.

We also should’ve been more aware of the queue and cut it off sooner. The comms between outside and inside was tough at times since we’ve never executed a ticket system before. That will be much improved next time.

In the end, we’re gonna do this again and we want yall to know that we respect your time and will do everything in our power to improve the experience. Thanks for being so good to us.
