After 12 wonderful years, That French Place is for sale.

What started as a small idea has grown into something beyond what we ever imagined. Over the past 11 years, we’ve built steady growth, and this past year was our best year yet. That French Place has developed multiple revenue streams and there is still so much opportunity for continued growth in Charlevoix and the surrounding communities.

While this has not been an easy decision, Brian and Emily are ready to move on to a new chapter in life. We are incredibly grateful for the support from our customers, friends, and this amazing community that has supported us from the very beginning.

We plan to remain here in Charlevoix and are excited to start a new venture, but That French Place will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Thanks for the love! It comes less and less after all these years but it still means so much to us!!

There’s a little slice of Paris hiding on Bridge Street 🥐

Right in downtown Charlevoix, this cozy café is known for delicate French macarons, made-to-order crêpes, and expertly pulled espresso drinks. Whether you’re fueling up with a latte before a waterfront stroll or lingering over organic tea, it’s the kind of place that makes mornings feel slower (in the best way).

Go savory with ham & egg or onion & Swiss, or sweet with Nutella and fresh fruit. And don’t skip the case of buttery croissants and fresh-baked pastries — the smell alone is worth the stop.

Pro tip: Grab your coffee and walk a few blocks to Round Lake. Très parfait. ✨

We are now open daily from 8am-2pm! Please call at least a week in advance for large special orders. Call a day in advance for a few pastries if you can’t get to us first thing in the morning. We will be open this week and over the holiday weekend for the following hours:
Wednesday- Monday 8am-2pm Tuesday the 26th CLOSED and then open EVERYDAY 8am-2pm until Labor Day! Here’s to a HAPPY summer!!
