This is a formal letter to clear up any confusion that may have arose from me promoting the Charleston Country Club restaurant through this page.
Roughly 4 months ago, it was brought to my attention that the current restaurant management was stepping down. When it was apparent that there was no one else stepping up to take this position, with much consideration, I decided I would take over and manage the restaurant until a more permanent solution became available.
After one week of business we were forced to shut down our dining room due to Covid 19.
This has been a food business nightmare, and many members from the board agreed to do what was needed to keep the doors open and to better serve our community during this time, so they agreed to let us serve carry out to non-members. With this being done, we have been able to keep the restaurant afloat, the employees paid and have been able to provide a much needed service to our community.
The biggest problem we faced was getting this information out to the public and in a timely and efficient manner, in order to get business coming in, so I decided to use my Meals that Matter page to help advertise.
There are members who have expressed that they are not ok with me advertising through this page. Therefore, I will no longer be posting menus for the Country Club here.
I will, however, be planning to pick up where I left off with Meals that Matter, and will be bringing family meals, salads, desserts and more back to our community. From this point forward, anything advertised through this page will be strictly for Meals that Matter only, and will never pertain to the Charleston Country Club.
I apologize for any confusion, I truly appreciated those who have stepped up and supported us during this time. It means so much, and the Country Club could not have made it without each and every one of you! โค๏ธ
With all of this being said, we will still be offering carryout to non-members until further notice, and your continued support will be much appreciated. Please call myself or the Country Club directly for menus and ordering.
