Islanders, gather round. After weeks of grooming sessions, food bowl drama, and a suspicious number of sunbeam love triangles, we’ve narrowed it down to the final four couples on Pounce Island. Only one pair will leave with the crown. The rest leave with their dignity and a lot of unresolved tension. It’s down to you now.

🐾🐦 Bird & Maximus & Bird — the original bonded pair. Never separated, never even a little bit interested in anyone else. Some would call it boring. We call it relationship goals.

🍌🍫 Banana & Coco — a slow burn if there ever was one. Coco does not do this for just anyone. And yet, somehow, there they were — curled up together for a nap like nothing was going on. Something was going on.

🖤🧡 Rowe & Ginger — chaos meets caution. Rowe has never had a coherent thought in his life. Ginger has never let anyone see her have one. It shouldn’t work. We don’t know why it does.

🍋🍓 Lemon Tart & Raspberry Spritz — no backstory needed. No drama to report. Just two names that sound like they were made for each other.”

Coco has been with us for three months now, which makes her our longest resident. In that time she’s watched cat after cat get adopted while she stays behind. We don’t understand it either. She’s a sweet black cat whose only real goal in life is to sit in your lap. Someone is sitting at home right now not realizing their cat is here waiting for them.

Meet Maximus and Bird, a bonded pair of one year old black cats who refuse to be photographed together, so please enjoy this rare footage. What you can’t see here: constant head rubs, shared meals off the same plate, and Bird looking around the room for Maximus approximately every four minutes.

Maximus is the outgoing one. Big boy, loves treats, will find the one sunbeam in the building and claim it. Bird is shyer, with enormous yellow eyes and the sweetest personality once she trusts you. She’s come out of her shell a lot, and Maximus gets most of the credit for that.

They met at the shelter, chose each other, and now it’s a package deal. Come meet them soon.
