A damn brand new rice cooker took us out last night for about 15 minutes. 🫠🫠🫠
The ship was sinking. FULL Titanic moment. 🤣
But we pulled through yet again — thank you for your patience, guys!
Me, Mike and our son's in here moving like we’re on a deadline with every bowl — bumping hips, talking trash, fixing stuff with each other’s help without even realizing I started it and he finished it. Still plating like we’re running a five‑star… ish kitchen out of a shoebox. A bigger shoebox than some, but still small for all the things we wish we could do.
This angle? Yeah… this is us.
The glow, the grind, the ‘move your elbow’ teamwork, the ‘you saw that?’ laughs, the whole messy, beautiful thing.
