The Griffon would like to offer its deepest sympathy and healing comfort to the entire Hocutt Family.

Mark set The Griffon on its enduring path over 30 years ago. Although he sold the business in 2008, Mark continued to be a consultant, mentor and friend over the years. His family and friends are directly involved in day to day operations to this date.

Cheers to your memory, Mark Hocutt and all the heartfelt love to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hocutt, Beth, Sue and Julie.

Thank you to everyone that visited our little pub in 2024! We’re shutting down the week of 1/5/2025 (reopen 1/13/2025) to give our hard working staff time to recharge for 2025 and knock out some routine maintenance. Hope to see you all in 2025!

"Hi all! I know this is a long shot but my boyfriend proposed on the 4th of July- downtown near the pineapple fountain, right after the fireworks show. It was pretty crowded and I’m wondering if some beautiful stranger out there happens to have a picture of the proposal. Not having a picture won’t change how special that moment was but it would be nice to have if it exists out there. Thanks in advance!"
