“Cones for Canines” 2026 has come to a close, but that doesn’t mean our partnership with Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association is over by far!

Best Friends Animal Society has challenged shelter’s across America to accept their “Dog Day Out Challenge”, and of course KCHA accepted that challenge! The goal, to get shelter dogs out and about, even if it is for just one day or few hours!

Did you know studies show that dogs who go out on a day trip are adopted 7 times faster than those who don’t? That is pretty amazing! The best part…it costs nothing, just a little bit of your time!

Meet Freddy! He is the sweetest seasoned fella you’ll meet, and his adoption fee is fully sponsored by us! He walks perfectly on a leash, absolutely no pulling or tugging! He really needs a human to call his own!

He’s not the only pup waiting for his adventure day! KCHA is open from 12-5 today! Go up, grab yourself a buddy for the day & bring them by for a complimentary pup cup!

What an awesome ArtWalk CWV last night!

We hosted the Kanawha County Public Library to assist in promoting National Library Card Sign-Up Month! They also offered great take and make goodies for the kids-we do have some currently available at our shop!

And if you needed another reason to stop by, there’s our Dewey Decimal Delight Ice Cream!
