Beautiful day for a stop at the Hagood Mill in Pickens, SC at the mill built by Mr. Jimmy's great, great grandfather (another James Hagood) in 1845. The family donated the mill to the Pickens County Museum Commission and it was placed on the National Register in 1972. Today, the Mill hosts many events and gatherings including "Third Saturday" festivals. If you're wandering around the upstate, stop and check it out!
