We've been getting a lot of requests for us to come to dealerships, businesses, etc. Unfortunately, with the "Seasonal Temporary License" that we are operating under this season, those types of cooking venues are out for us. Below is the paragraph taken from the official state of Iowa food licensing website. We do apologize. We are working toward another trailer/truck for next year to make these events possible.

"Sponsored Event means a significant occurrence or happening sponsored by a civic, business, governmental, community, or veterans organization and may include an athletic contest. For example, an event does not include a single store’s grand opening or sale."

Thank you for your understanding.

It's official. We're back in the game. We won't have a foodtruck or trailer. We will be operating under a pop tent, with a griddle, outdoor deep fryer, and we're adding smoked meat platters this year. Message us now as we start booking out for the season. We thank you in advanced for a great comeback and an amazing 2026 season!! We love you all❤️💯👨‍🍳

I just had a great 30 minute conversation with my guys from Entrepreneurs of Iowa. Elijah Bluhm and Anthony Iovine are so supportive. They encouraged me keep striving, keep grinding, keep giving and keep my dream alive. Like... for real....I have never had this much support in my entire life.

I think you should reach out to this company and see what they can do for you.

You can climb mountains.

This is amazing. The unity of a small town coming together with the power of small business to help when our big government is letting our people down.

Before the cheesesteak business, I worked for an amazing, kind, and giving guy who owns a huge concrete company. I watched him give away so much to so many people. I wanted my business to be just like that. When I went off on my adventure, his advice to me was, "The goal of owning your own business is to give it away to those who need help. You have to build your business before giving it away."

I've known Julie and Jeremy for about 5 years now. I've learned so much from both of them!! I've watched them take dreams and turn them into reality despite hardships, illness, injuries and the fluctuating unknowns of the food service industry. Thank you Ginger’s Top Shelf for stepping in and caring for your community.❤️💯

We are out for the day!! We will be back Tuesday at 4:30-7 pm same location!! We received a lot of donated vegetables, eggs for baking, and crackers. We will be announcing meal the day before. We hope the afternoon time helps more people to stop after work to grab food for your families. God bless and see you in 2 days. Just know how much our team who volunteered appreciated everyone’s help, donations, and encouragement! 🩵🙏🏻👩🏻‍🦰

There's something special about seeing friends following and accomplishing their dreams! Here's to many more years of success!

Churasan. 美さん。

The word is out — we’ve expanded! 🎉
I’m beyond thankful for everyone who continues to support Churasan. None of this would be possible without my amazing team — this truly takes teamwork to make the dream work!

What started as making sushi from home for friends quickly grew into something bigger. When I saw the chance to open a food truck, I took it — and later, a storefront, turning this passion into my full-time career. Every step has been challenging and honestly a little scary, but sometimes you just have to take that leap of faith!

Once again, I saw an opportunity and went for it. Our goal now is to keep our storefront open year-round and still take the trailer out — so we won’t have to close the shop when we’re on the road. It’ll take some time to get everything ready, but we’re working hard to make it happen!

Thank you all so, so much for your support 🥹💖 I truly have the best customers — each one of you feels like family esp i already know what they wanan order as they walk in 😂
I love how food brings people together, and I’m so grateful I get to share that joy with all of you.

Thinking about starting up a food truck business? Great idea! How can I help? I have a lot of experience in this field. When I started my business I had no idea what I was doing. I was my own accountant for 2 years. I did all of my own generic marketing which brought my business page to over 5,000 followers in just 3 years. I knew absolutely nothing other than how to cook my beloved cheesesteak!

I have surrounded myself with an amazing team. Through their experience and networking power, my passion to cook and turn nothing into something great, and both of our desires to see dreams come to reality, LET US HELP you fulfill your dreams!

How many cheesesteaks are consumed daily?

In Philadelphia: A 2006 survey in Philadelphia Magazine estimated that roughly 4% of city residents eat a cheesesteak every single day. Given Philadelphia's population of over 1.5 million people, this suggests a daily consumption of over 60,000 cheesesteaks within the city!!

The Philly cheesesteak originated in the 1930s when Pat Olivieri, a hot dog vendor in South Philadelphia, grilled thinly sliced beef and put it on a roll, sparking interest from a local cab driver.

Cheese was not added until the 1940s, with provolone being the first cheese to be used. The sandwich grew in popularity, and Pat's King of Steaks became a brick-and-mortar restaurant, cementing its place as a city staple.
