Scott Sean White is a touring singer-songwriter who has had several songs recorded by country superstar Cody Johnson - two on Cody’s album “Human” - including “God Bless the Boy” and “Made a Home,” and one called “Over Missing You” on the deluxe version of “Leather.” He has also had several songs recorded by Bryan Martin as well, including “Years in the Making,” “Poets and Old Souls,” “Easier Bein’ Me,” and “Wishbone,” in addition to his own 2 albums and a third coming out June 12, including the singles “She’d Be the Bible,“ “Little Bit of Luck,” and “Piano For Sale.”
Scott puts almost 60,000 miles a year on his car, playing 120-150 shows a year, all over the country - at house concerts, listening rooms, and even some churches. He is a storyteller, both in his songs, and the moments in between songs, laying out his life experience - his faith and struggles - and intertwining it all with his craft. His live show is starkly honest, transparent, and eye-opening - full of belly laughs, and probably a few tears, too...
He makes his home these days in Poetry, Texas, a perfectly named little town for a songwriter’s songwriter. His first album, “Call It Even,” came out in April 2021, and Jack Ingram said, “Some songwriters spend precious time struggling to find their truth and make it rhyme. Others just pick up their guitar and tell it. Scott Sean White is one of the others.” His second album - “Even Better On the Bad Days,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes Singer-songwriter chart in January 2024.
Please help us welcome Scott Sean White to Chappell Hill this Friday night!
