❤️ A Difficult Decision, With So Much Gratitude ❤️
After a lot of thought, long conversations, and many moments of reflection, we have made a very difficult decision.
With mixed emotions, we have decided that La Hacienda De Maria in Chapman will be closing its doors. Our last day will be October 31st.
This has not been an easy decision. Over these past few months, we have done everything we could to keep going with the staff we have, but without enough help in the kitchen, it has become harder and harder to keep the restaurant running the way we want to.
Sometimes, even when something means so much to you, you have to be honest with yourself and make the decisions that are best for the future.
And this place has meant so much more than just a restaurant to us.
Since the very beginning, we have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people. Some have moved on and are no longer here, while others have become more than customers — you have become our friends and part of our Hacienda family.
Many of you have supported us since Day 1. You celebrated birthdays with us, shared meals with your families, stopped by just to say hello, and continued supporting us through the good days and the difficult ones.
Leaving this place hurts. ❤️
But we also know that sometimes certain decisions have to be made, even when they are not the ones our hearts want to make.
But this is not goodbye.
We are still here, and we are not going anywhere. 😊
You can continue enjoying La Hacienda De Maria at our Abilene Food Truck and our Junction City Food Truck, and if everything works out and the City of Chapman allows us to do it, maybe one day you will see a La Hacienda De Maria food truck right here in our beloved Chapman. ❤️🌮
Until October 31st, we will be here serving you with the same love, same food, and same cariño we always have.

We may be closing these doors, but the memories we made here — and the people we met along the way — will always stay with us.
