Because this weekend is graduation and Mother’s Day, we will be prioritizing guests who are dining in with us so we can make sure you have a pleasant experience. We have had the pleasure of serving thousands of people. We’ve been blessed that many of them have made us part of their daily routine. Through this, we’ve been lucky to meet some truly wonderful people. Under different circumstances I don’t think we’d cross paths at all (I need to admit that Amy is much better at this than me).
David was one of those people. A husband, a father and grandfather, a successful architect and lover of train photography (he published a couple books of his own work) and avid tennis player. David was a super regular at breakfast and he had a unique talent to draw people in to conversation. Every morning he would have a rotating group of friends engaged in a lively conversation. We’ll miss you David.
As we take this time to celebrate David, his life, career and impact on those around him, I’d like to remind people that the time to have these conversations is now. There are so many amazing people in the world and none of us are getting any younger.
