Choose one of our three burgers—Angus chuck beef, fresh ground turkey, and homemade veggie—and start building! We offer a wide selection of both traditional and unique cheeses and toppings so you can create a simple, classic burger or one with a gourmet flare. If you’re hankering for a sandwich, we’ve got grilled salmon and grilled chicken for you, as well as footlong hot dogs. And if you want to

skip the bun altogether, you can top off your Caesar salad with any of the burger patty or sandwich options. Of course, no meal would be complete without a pile of handcut fries on the side and one of our delicious hand-spun milkshakes. Our mission at Buns is to always use the freshest ingredients to deliver a superior product at a reasonable price. Our patties are handcrafted daily, and our fries are cut fresh throughout the day using only the finest Idaho potatoes. Our white and wheat buns come freshly baked from The Bread Shop, a bakery just down the road in Pittsboro.

We are fortunate to have been able to donate 100 meals of burgers and fries to local IFC Community House and Home Start programs to provide for those in need during this time of crisis! As members of the Chapel Hill small business community, we firmly believe in supporting our neighbors in any way we can.

Our full menu is available for take out as we continue to comply with CDC and local government mandates. We look forward to continuing to serve you all as we work through this together!

Valued Customers

We at Buns are committed to safeguarding the health of all our customers and employees during this national health crisis. We are outlined the protective measures that all Buns employees are strictly adhering to below.

1. All condiments have been removed from tables. Condiments will be distributed by request and sanitized by employees immediately after use.

2. Seating has been rearranged in our restaurant to allow for at least 6 feet of space in between customers.

3. Sanitizer bottles are stationed at the front door area.

4. All employees will wear gloves at all times and regularly change gloves as needed.

5. Cashiers have been instructed and trained to regularly disinfect all heavy hand traffic spots on the front door, public restroom, and liquid dispenser area.

We are closely monitoring guidance from health and local government authorities in order to remain socially responsible
as a small local business. At this time, our doors will remain open with strict safety measures in place in order to continue to serve you, our valued customers.
