Y’all, have you tried our new Root Ready-to-Go Meals yet?? These grab and go dinners go from fridge to oven to table in 30 mins or less and are so convenient. Today’s enchiladas rojas was created by our kitchen staff and is absolutely fantastic. We’re talking traditional folded enchiladas with chicken, sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, and queso fresco, served with rice and black beans. Our fall calendar is filling up with some seriously delicious events, and our Sept. 20 Fish Pickin’ is one you definitely don’t want to miss.

Think Southern seafood feast meets laid-back evening on the farm—smoke in the air, plates piled high, cold drinks in hand and absolutely no reason to rush home.

Chefs Sera Cuni and Bill Hartley are teaming up once again for a seafood-filled feast at the beautiful Chatham Oaks Farm in Pittsboro. And unlike our traditional seated farm dinners, this one is all about keeping things casual, communal and FUN.

Grab a plate. Find a seat. Go back for seconds. Catch up with friends. Wander the farm. Then settle in and enjoy one of those late-summer evenings that deserves to last a little longer.

Your $75 ticket includes the entire Fish Pickin’ Feast plus a welcome drink. B**r and w**e will also be available for purchase.
