Where it all started… sa bahay (at home).
“Kumain ka na ba?” (have you eaten yet) is one of the sweetest Filipino love languages. It may sound like a simple question, but it is an act of care, a way of saying I love you without needing the words.
In this corner at home, almost every morning, I ask my family, “Gusto niyo ng kape?” (do you want coffee). Again, it’s a simple question that carries warmth, presence, and love.
Coffee may just be a simple drink, but at Bayan Brews, it means so much more. Every cup is brewed with intention, with heart, and with the hope that one day we get to create a place to call our own, where you feel welcomed and connected.
As we approach our first year, we carry these traditions with us. We are grateful for every moment, every conversation, and every person who has become part of this growing community.
