The Walk-in was replaced 2 months ago. This was never about just a walk-in as we've always said. Educate yourselves. We're still here.

Follow up. The Law Suit is still in motion. We have 14 days to restructure the complaint so Champaign-Urbana Public Health District can answer the allegations but the case is still in play. This is what we knew would happen and it's already done. Just need to file it. This is far from over.

Been here getting things back in order the past few days. The cars in the parking lot make people think were open. It's amazing and heart warming to see so many cars keep pulling in and trying to come inside. Our food and customers speak for themselves. Hang in there for us because we hung in there for all of you. Finally heard from CUPHD so we're moving again. We'll give a full update when things are done. Thank you so much for all the encouragement.

This is 1 of 2 post that will be made before we reopen. It's so sad that everyone bought into the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District lies and full smear campaign of our restaurant. They convinced an entire community that a walk-in cooler is required for a Level 1 Restaurant. They knew this was a lie from the start. But because they had abused this rule and punished so many starting and operating businesses with this lie, they trashed our name and made the community hate us. Not for any health violations which we had none. All this for not following made up rules that they put in place to keep a choke hold on this city. You'll see Monday in court documents they finally admit that they had no right to close us because of the walk-in because it's not required by any state or federal law for Level 1 Restaurants. Ignorance is always needed to control the non educated and there was plenty to be had here. We'll post everything after this case is finished. We don't expect any of you to own up to the lies and hateful comments sent our way. But next time consider what the Health Department had to lose to go so viciously after a small operation like ours. They will lose 15yrs of power from ruling with lies.

We have a hearing set for next Wednesday to discuss removing the Red Placard that was proven wrongfully placed on our business. Only in Champaign can something this backwards happen. Welcome to our Health Department.
