I know I’ve been a little absent lately, but I’m so excited to say Bread & Blessings will be OPEN tomorrow with fresh baked goods! 🥹🤍🍞
It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to fill the bakery with goodies, and I’ve definitely missed baking for you all! Tomorrow I’ll be stocked up with some favorites, so come by and grab yourself a treat (or two 😉).
Tomorrow’s menu includes:

I know I’ve been a little quiet over here lately, and I hate that I haven’t been nearly as active with Bread & Blessings as I’d like to be. 🤎 But I figured it was time for a little life update… and some exciting news too! 🥹
This mama is officially back in her 3rd semester of nursing school, and whewww… it has been an adjustment. 😅 Between classes, studying, being a wife and mama, and everything else life brings, nursing school has been DRAINING. I’m still trying to find that sweet spot where I can fit Bread & Blessings into my schedule without completely running myself into the ground.

I’ve been trying to figure out the best days to have baked goods available, and that’s honestly been one of the biggest battles. During the week, so many of you are working and can’t always stop by, but Saturdays I have clinicals, which makes our usual weekend availability a little tricky too. I’m still working on it, though, and I promise I haven’t forgotten about you! 🫶🏼

Trust me when I say I MISS BEING IN THE KITCHEN. 😭 I miss baking all day, trying new sourdough flavors, making cinnamon rolls, filling the shelves, and seeing you all stop by. Bread & Blessings is still so incredibly special to me. This season just looks a little different while I’m working toward another dream of mine. 🩺🤍 So thank you for continuing to be patient with me while I figure out a schedule that works!

BUTTTT… since I hate coming on here just to tell you I haven’t been baking as much, I have some UPLIFTING NEWS! 🤭🎉

I know I said I wasn’t adding any more businesses to the building… 😂 but apparently I shouldn’t make statements like that because then I come across something I absolutely LOVE and all bets are off.

I recently came across Rocky Top Acres, tried their goat milk soap, and FELL. IN. LOVE. 🧼🐐😍 Seriously, their goat milk soap has become my go-to! Of course, after trying it, my brain immediately went, “Okay…but what if I had this in Bread & Blessings?” 😂

So naturally, I had to reach out and ask if she would be interested in setting up some of her products in the building… and I am SO excited to say that Rocky Top Acres will be joining Bread & Blessings! 🥹🤎

And y’all… she makes WAY more than just goat milk soap! 👀 I’m going to save all the details for her official introduction, so STAY TUNED to see what products she’ll be bringing into the shop!

I truly think she is going to be such an amazing addition. Her products do not disappoint, and I love being able to use this little building God blessed me with to support other small businesses and give you all even more reasons to stop in. 🤍

So while the baked-good schedule may look a little different during this season of nursing school, Bread & Blessings is still here, still growing, and apparently still making room for “just one more” small business. 😂🫶🏼

Okay, I have to admit… I love when people challenge me to make something outside of my usual! 🥹🧁💙
If you know Bread & Blessings, you know sourdough is my thing. 😂 I don’t typically make cakes or cupcakes, but of course, when someone asks me to make something, you just know I’m probably going to say “I’ll give it a try!”
I was asked to make some cupcakes for a birthday, and the request was so simple that I couldn’t pass it up — vanilla & chocolate cupcakes with blue icing 💙
And I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love challenging myself, trying new things, and seeing what I can create outside of my comfort zone. There’s something so fun about starting something thinking, “Okay… let’s see if I can do this,” and then being proud of how it turns out. 🥹
Sourdough will always have my heart, but maybeeee cupcakes can sneak their way in every once in a while. 😉🧁

🍞 OKAY FRIENDS… HELP ME PLAN THIS WEEKEND’S BREAD! 🤎
I’m thinking about getting back in the kitchen and making some fresh bread for this weekend, but I want to know… what are YOU needing a restock of?! 👀🍞
I know soooo many of you were excited about the pretzel sourdough bread after I posted it, and trust me when I say—it was PHENOMENAL. 🥨🤤 But I may actually hold off on selling that one for now.
After experimenting with it, I noticed that the butter I brushed over the crust after baking made it soften up and get a little soggy as it sat. It seems like one of those breads that is AMAZING fresh out of the oven but really needs to be eaten pretty quickly to get the full pretzel-bread experience. 😂 And if I’m selling something to you guys, I want to feel 100% confident that it’s going to be just as delicious when you get it home as it was when I made it. 🤎
Soooo… back to the drawing board on that one for now! 🥨🍞 I’m not giving up on it—I just want to perfect it first!

I saw another content creator post about making PRETZEL SOURDOUGH BREAD, and immediately I thought… how absolutely DELICIOUS would that be?! 🤤
Think of a beautiful sourdough boule, but with that deep golden-brown, chewy, salty pretzel crust on the outside and soft sourdough goodness on the inside. 🥨🍞
But THEN my mind started going even further… 😂
What if Bread & Blessings made pretzel sourdough boules AND paired them with some type of homemade cheese dip?! 🧀🤤 Like something you could warm up, tear off a piece of that salty pretzel sourdough, and dip right into the cheese.
Because apparently I can’t just see a bread idea and leave it alone. 😂 I have to start thinking about what else we can do with it!
So before I start experimenting in the kitchen…

I don’t know about y’all, but I am SO ready for all the cozy fall baking!! There’s just something about the smell of apple, cinnamon, pumpkin, brown sugar, maple, caramel… filling the kitchen that makes my heart happy. 🥹🍁
So of course, Bread & Blessings has to start thinking about a FALL MENU! 👀🍞
But I want to hear from YOU! What fall-inspired goodies would you love to see me make?!

Just a little friendly reminder for everyone who shops at Bread & Blessings. 🫶
This evening I realized someone accidentally scanned the wrong QR code when purchasing baked goods. No worries at all, it was an honest mistake, and I actually think it's because of how I currently have my shop set up.
As my little building has filled with more amazing small businesses, I had to move my cash box and QR code to a rolling cart instead of keeping it right beside my baked goods. I can definitely see how that could be confusing, so that's on me! I'll be working on making everything a little clearer.
If you're shopping, would you mind just taking an extra second to make sure you're scanning the correct QR code for the items you're purchasing? Each vendor has their own payment method, so I just want to make sure everyone gets paid for their hard work.
Thank you all so much for your continued love and support of not only my bakery, but all of the wonderful small businesses inside my shop. It truly means the world to us.
