10% of sales from 5-7 are being donated to Humble Design. A local non profit that turns empty houses into fully furnished homes for individuals, families, and veterans transitioning out of homelessness.

BREAKFAST IN CHAGRIN FALLS

Let’s discover the many places to have breakfast in downtown Chagrin Falls!

Lemon Falls….located at 95 N. Main Street.

Open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am-3 pm Lemon Falls is a delightful cafe/marketplace that serves breakfast, lunch and baked goods (as well as gourmet food items). Located on a nice corner spot, they have some outdoor seating on nice days!

Amy, Kellee and I started with some fresh coffee and a latte and then moved on to share a couple breakfast entrees. There was a lot to choose from but we decided to share the avocado toast and the breakfast wrap.

First, the avocado toast. Simple but yummy. Fresh avocado smashed and then topped with tomato and seasonings.

Next, the breakfast wrap. Scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese. It was hot and so flavorful. They gave us some of their homemade hot sauce and it added the perfect amount of heat. Just a dab was enough to add flavor!

We finished with a blueberry scone and it was the perfect sweet ending. I’m usually skeptical of scones (too dry for me!) but this one…not dry at all! Chock full of blueberries to make it moist and just the right amount of crystallized sugar on top.

The atmosphere inside is so warm and inviting as well and it’s a great spot to start your morning.

BREAKFAST IN CHAGRIN FALLS

Let’s discover the many places to have breakfast in downtown Chagrin Falls!

Yours Truly….located at 30 N. Main Street.

Open daily from 6:30 am-9 pm (later on weekends) Yours Truly is famously known for serving breakfast ALL DAY. Located in a big corner spot, it has a great view of the bustling Main Street traffic and shops.

We started with mimosas (yes! They use fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juices!) The Bloody Marys are outstanding as well…I usually ask for the Tajin rim and a splash of beer to top it off (trust me…try it! The extra pour acts as a refreshing way to cut through the thick, spicy, and savory flavors of the Bloody Mary mix) .

Lizzie, Lisa and I shared a few dishes…First, the famous Killit Skillet. Two big eggs, bacon,
sausage, golden hash browns with onion, green
pepper, mixed cheese and toasted ciabatta. Whoa! So much food and everything hot and delicious!!

Next, the Sunrise…Two big eggs, choice of breakfast
meat (we got sausage links) golden hash browns and toast. Basic yes…but the taste is anything but!!

Finally, the Eggs Benedict: Canadian bacon, over easy eggs, and Hollandaise over English muffins. This entree was particularly savory and good!!

Yours Truly has a very extensive menu with delicious lunch and dinner options, plus a 7 day a week Happy Hour (more on that in another post!) but the breakfast options are truly the perfect comfort foods!

BREAKFAST IN CHAGRIN FALLS

Let’s discover the many places to have breakfast in downtown Chagrin Falls!

Etalian….located at 13 Bell Street.

Open daily 8:00-3:00 pm for crepes (both savory and sweet) breakfast egg wraps and fresh roasted coffees, it’s the perfect spot to start your day with AMAZING views of the Chagrin River, Falls and village.

Located inside a former blacksmith shop, the bistro features an open kitchen so you can watch them make your food! Numerous seating options: inside, outside on wrought iron tables on the patio, or along the wood bar which overlooks the Falls.

We started with fresh roasted coffee and a latte from their fancy espresso machine…no powdered coffee in this…the machine grinds the coffee beans so your coffee is super fresh!

Kellee, Amy and I shared two dishes…and it was enough for all 3 of us! First, the warm mushroom, bacon, arugula and scrambled egg wrap. Made on pizza dough instead of a typical flour tortilla…it had a wonderful crunch and so much flavor! Only $10!!!

Next, the prosciutto and basil crepe. Beautifully presented and drizzled with a balsamic glaze…it really was one of the best crepes I’ve ever had! Again…only $10!

We finished off our breakfast with an affogato, a hot shot of espresso with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a pizzelle cookie.

Etalian is open until 9 or 10 pm (depending on the night) and while it is primarily known for the delicious wood oven pizzas…it should definitely be on your list for breakfast!!
