We set the tables by the window this morning, put fresh flowers in every little vase, and turned the chairs toward Tower Ave so you can watch Centralia walk by while you eat.

This video is what a night at Bodega by Ox feels like right now. Leather chairs that pull right up, a couch with a throw blanket, small plates coming out in warm clay bowls — the garlic shrimp you see at 4 seconds, our house mushrooms, and the chef's tapas board at the end.

Come in and dine with us this week. Order a few things to share, enjoy a proper pour, and let the room slow you down.

That's the whole point here. Quality food, quality drinks, and a space that feels like you found something.

We are a 21 and over wine and tapas lounge in downtown Centralia, and we open Wednesday through Saturday from 3pm to 10pm at 328 N Tower Ave.

Walk-ins are always welcome and reservations are encouraged if you want that window seat or the couch.

Cocas are on the menu now.
• Salmon, burrata, lemon, dill
• Slow-roasted garlic, parsley picada
• Escalivada, fire-roasted peppers and onions

House-made coca, crisp edges, made to tear and share. My go-to is the garlic one with the Ametzoi Rubentis. The salmon loves the Rioja Reserva. Not drinking, grab the mojito mocktail, it works.

This is our Vermouth Experience Board at Bodega by Ox - just how it's done in Spain: tinned cockles, ensaladilla rusa with picos, banderillas, marinated olives, cornichons, lemon, and Spanish chips. No filler, every bite is salty, briny, or bright – built specifically to pair with our imported vermouths.

Two new desserts just hit the menu.
Classic tiramisu: espresso-soaked layers, mascarpone cream, finished with cocoa.
Passion fruit mousse: silky, tart, and completely vegan and gluten free. Bright passion fruit over a smooth vanilla base.
