Last Tuesday’s Half-Price Lasagna Night was such a hit. We loved seeing how happy and appreciative everyone was, so we figured… why not run it back tomorrow?! 🍝🙌

We heard “this is the best lasagna I’ve ever had” A LOT — usually followed by:

“Just don’t tell my grandma I said that.” 😂😂

Well, Central… we hear you. Loud and clear. 😂

We think we accidentally got boycotted Tuesday night.

We skipped our Tuesday special for one week… and just about nobody showed up. It ended up being our slowest Tuesday in a long time.

Poor Alexis answered phone call after phone call:
“Y’all running a special tonight?”

“Not tonight…”

Click. ☎️😂 (literally!)

Apparently that answer wasn’t acceptable.

OK, OK… we get the hint. Our bad.

We’ll take this one on the chin, admit defeat, and happily bring back our Tuesday night specials.

One thing we’ve always believed at Joe’s is that you’re more than customers to us. You’re our friends, our neighbors, and our community.

This past Tuesday, we tried something we’ve never done before by offering half off our entire menu at our Central location. We weren’t trying to make a fortune, we were trying to give back. The response was far greater than we ever expected, and while so many people showed patience, kindness, and understanding, others decided that one difficult night was enough to completely write us off.

The truth is…we’re real people.

Behind every pizza, every order, every special, and every decision are owners and employees who care deeply. We go home every night talking about what went well, what didn’t, and how we can be better tomorrow. We celebrate the wins, and we carry the failures home with us. We feel the criticism just as deeply as we appreciate the encouragement.

Sometimes it makes us wonder if people see us as just another restaurant instead of people who genuinely care. We pour our hearts into this community. We’ve supported schools, charities, churches, first responders, veterans, local events, and families in need. We do those things because we love God, we love people, and we believe that’s what we’re called to do, not because anyone expects it.

We don’t expect perfection from our friends, and we hope they don’t expect it from us either.

If Tuesday taught us anything, it’s that we’ll be even better next time. But we also hope it reminds people that grace should extend to small businesses too. Behind the logo are people who are trying their absolute best every single day.

To everyone who stood by us, encouraged our team, and chose kindness instead of criticism…thank you. You’ll never know how much that meant to us. We hope you’ll continue to see Joe’s not as just a restaurant, but as people who care deeply about serving this community the best we know how. ❤️
