I’m Executive Chef & Owner Derrick Johnson of BaileyAnne located in the historic town of Centerville, Texas, centrally located between Houston and Dallas. Between faith, family and career… How does one sum up years of past experiences with various cuisines, mentors that helped to pave the way, books that inspired your life and the failures that ultimately made you stronger?… You bring it a

ll back home to create what God intended. As a young Culinarian at Le Cordon Bleu, most of my efforts devoted to food were not actually cooking. It was reading and applying what I could grasp out of my studies into skill sets I could sharpen and maintain for my future. While staying true to my French base in preparation and methods, my curiosity led me on a quest to find the Trinity and flavors from other cultures. From rolling sushi to flambéing crème brulee the experiences would help to mold me into the Chef I am today. Gulf Coast Comfort I call it. Wood-fired cooking that's eclectic in flavor and appeal. Locally caught fish from Texas lakes along with some of the best seafood the Gulf has to offer. My vision for BaileyAnne is to provide an atmosphere and dining experience that the entire family will feel welcomed. Wood-fired cooking dates back centuries and has long been a beacon for people to gather and enjoy some of life's simplest pleasures of food and community. I plan to encompass that with BaileyAnne.

Happy Friday BaileyAnne family!! Well… we’re all moved out as of 11:30 pm last night 🥵. It was an overwhelming task but my team stuck with it the whole time and did their very best to complete the task in our 3 day time frame. We did on the other hand run short of a truck lol. So I chipped in as a pack mule😂😂😂. Thanks for all your support and visits throughout the process. We enjoyed the hugs and laughter for sure. We still have a few caterings to fulfill in the Centerville, Jewett, Buffalo and Willis area; so we’re Not all the way done just yet. Tuesday August 11th-August 13th I’m selling all fresh seafood at a discount price alone with perishable dry goods.
Seafood and fish on hand - Gulf shrimp, Louisiana catfish, crawfish tails, tilapia, oysters and redfish.

Meats- chicken tenders raw frozen, chicken thighs, pork spare ribs, pork loin.

Wood- about half a cord-$100

5 gallon Fountain syrups-$20 each

Fresh produce- onions(red & yellow) , squash, celery, garlic

Dry goods- cornmeal flour, AP Flour, rice, sugar, brown sugar and all of our spices. Call for details or just come on down.

Sad news BaileyAnne family… I’ve been given a notice to vacate our location here in Centerville. Due insurance requirements not being met in a timely manner. Hey, it’s not easy to swallow but it is a fact. I’m deeply sorry yet this was literally verbiage that was needed on my contract that became an endless loop of frustration and confusion. Not sure why my insurance company simply didn’t provide the support I needed. On a brighter note.. God doesn’t make mistakes nor does he lead his flock into uncertainty so I’m thankful in this time of sadness and will continue on. BaileyAnne seafood & fish will be in talks to relocate to Tomball tx or possibly Willis tx. It’s not over yall.. we will regroup and relocate. Love yall stay tune for updates ❤️❤️❤️ Thursday will be our last lunch & dinner service here in Centerville. See yall in a few months!!

Well BaileyAnne family… it’s been a full year!! As of today August 6th❤️ ❤️❤️ I’m very grateful for my teammates/my ride or dies, my beautiful wife, my awesome parents, my dearest cousins Tim Holley, Derrick Lacey, Chris Johnson and close friends that continue to support me on this amazing journey together. I’ve been a professional chef almost 25 years!! Gaining my first professional title at 21 years of age. By far this has been my hardest challenge in my career but worth every bit of effort and dedication needed for success. I’d also like to thank all of our first time visitors and for sure our dedicated locals that keep me going and helping to make sure we stay consistent throughout our growth. So cheers to everyone and this special milestone. Also!! Thank you to the anonymous supporter for the beautiful flowers ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
