Forever Collins Strong. ❤️

Today marks four years since we lost Mark “Pop” Collins, Waylon, Carson, Hudson, and Bryson.

Four years later, their absence is still felt. There are moments when the grief feels fresh, memories that bring both smiles and tears, and reminders that love does not end when someone is gone.

The hurt is still there, because the love is still there.

Over the past four years, we have watched their legacy live on through acts of kindness, service, scholarships, friendships, and a community that continues to remember. While we would trade every accomplishment, every scholarship, and every tribute for one more day with them, we are grateful that their lives continue to inspire others to love deeply, serve generously, and cherish the people around them.

Today, we remember five lives that left an imprint on countless hearts. We remember their laughter, their unique personalities, the joy they brought to those around them, and the love they shared so freely. Their stories did not end on June 2, 2022. They continue to live on in the people they touched and the lives that continue to be changed in their honor.

As we reflect on this day, we pray for peace that only Heaven knows, for comfort for those who miss them most, and for the strength to continue carrying their legacy forward.

Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever remembered.
Forever Collins Strong.

Well, I forgot to take a picture of the prototype before it was consumed (for quality control purposes, you know😉)so I’ll post one a little later this afternoon.

BUT, starting at 4:00 this afternoon we will be offering Chicken Fried RIBEYE Steak. This is CHOICE Angus Ribeye, hand cut & tenderized in-house. We’ll serve it up with your choice of 2 sides & a fluffy dinner roll, all for $24.95.

🔥 Official Post for Tumblers 🔥

While Rusty is known and remembered for a LOT of things, the Little Red Shack is at the top of the list. Here are a few of my favorite memories:

*It’s where I started my first job in 1999.

*It’s where the BEST breakfast sandwiches were made on homemade biscuits. If you remember this, it’s time for your mammogram and colonoscopy.

*It’s where I watched this car pull up, dump all of their trash out in our parking lot, and my mother fearlessly stomped out there, picked it up, and gave it back to them when they pulled over to Texaco to get gas. (Now you know where I get my attitude from).

*It’s the building that was moved across the highway to our current location with Drake’s biggest wrecker truck on one side, and a forklift on the other. When Shell bought out Texaco, we had I think 30 days to move. Fun times.

*It’s also the building in which so many of you would stand in line, out in the hot blazing sun, just to order something from the little window, then return to your car to eat.

So this is really the reason behind putting the shack on these tumblers. For a big milestone like a 40th Anniversary, it’s easy to break out all the merchandise to commemorate this event. But that’s not really what we wanted. We wanted to stay simple.

Rusty was a simple man; he loved simple things, he loved fishing, he loved tinkering with crap, he loved life, he loved his family and friends, he loved strangers. And he also loved his tumblers. Lol Just ask mom how many she has found in the cabinets at home.

Man I wish he was here to see this year, this milestone.

Okay so before I get all in my feels this morning, I’m going to close this out.

What a week it has been!

I feel like we didn’t even get a chance to recover from Mother’s Day. You have killed it every single day this week, and for that we are so t̶i̶r̶e̶d̶… thankful. I meant to say thankful. 😁 So forgive us for not having a “special” today, but we are open and stocked up on all of your favs!

You may have seen this young whippersnapper in the restaurant from time to time, but you won’t see him today. He’s staying closer to home so he can celebrate his birthday this evening with his family. Happy Birthday, Mr. C, (Mr Dale Collins)! 🥳🎉🎂 97 today, and still going strong! You have been such an inspiration and source of comfort for me. I am blessed to know you!❤️
