An Update from Us 🤍
This is a post I never imagined having to write, and it hasn’t been an easy decision — or a quick one.
Since November, we’ve been working toward opening The Cottage, and we know many of you have been patiently (and excitedly) waiting for us to open our doors. Your encouragement, messages, and support have meant more to us than we can properly put into words.
After months of preparation, hard work, and deep reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to no longer move forward with opening The Cottage.
This choice was not made lightly. We invested significant time, money, and heart into this project, and walking away is incredibly painful. Ultimately, circumstances outside of our control made it clear that moving forward under the current conditions would not be sustainable or aligned with the values and environment we want for ourselves or our future.
While this chapter is ending, it’s not the end of everything we love to do. Our food truck will continue to operate on a part-time basis and through scheduled events, and we’re grateful to still be able to serve you in that way while we regroup and refocus.
Thank you for believing in us, cheering us on, and holding space for us as we navigate a hard but necessary decision.
Sometimes the strongest choice is knowing when to pause, protect your peace, and choose a different path — even when your heart wanted this so badly.
This isn’t goodbye forever. It’s simply a step back while we take care of what matters most. We appreciate your understanding more than you know.
