And just like that….we lock the doors to The Centerville Steakhouse for one final time. It’s the end of an era and a staple in Centerville dating back to 1994 when Joe and Eva Erickson along with Larry and Linda Swanson first opened the doors of the Centerville Steakhouse. Doug and I took over on May 12, 2012….30 years total. Cole was 6, Chloe had just turned 3 and Claire was 10 months old!!! We cannot begin to express the depth of our gratitude to all of you who walked through our doors! Our first customers were Floyd and Kathy Anderson and our last customers were David and Kelley Ostrem. To all of our employees past and present from Mavis, Vhonda, Tim and Heather to Kaitlynn and Abbie to Jacquelynn, Sophie and Jennifer and everyone in between, to my family and Doug’s and our friends and of course all of our “Sunday girls” and guys and to all of our dishwashers and our kids, Cole, Chloe and Claire…..thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the memories that we will cherish forever! Now, to turn the page on the next chapter…
