Bigfoot Meet & Greet 👣 at Joe Ford Nature Center
Saturday, Oct 25 • 10 AM–2 PM (drop in anytime)

October is here—let the folklore fun begin! In the spirit of Joe Ford’s love for mystery, we’re hosting our first-ever Bigfoot event: a relaxed, family-friendly meet & greet where curiosity leads the way.

What to expect:
• Guest speakers: Don Adkins (former BFRO investigator, 50+ yrs research) and Don Neal (pastor, KBRO member, 50+ yrs research) sharing stories, prints, and Q&A.
• Local flavor: Fred Chism (Art Wear Express / Squatch Hollow) on Appalachian sightings—plus a sneak peek at the future Blue Bridge Squatch Festival.
• Tasty treats: Montago's Tasty Tings food truck, sweets, and fresh popcorn.
• Atmosphere: trails, fall color, and… it’s highly likely a Bigfoot may be roaming. 😉

Where: 3870 West 2nd St, Owensboro, KY 42301 (behind the GRADD Center)
Parking: Please park at GRADD.
Format: Come & go; show-and-tell style—no need to arrive right at 10.

We will be celebrating Daddy's (Sluggo) 80th Birthday on Sunday Sept 7 at 5:00pm at the Ohio County Fairgrounds Building #1. We will have good food to serve! No gifts please. If you want to bring something, feel free to bring a dish (but dont worry about it if you can't). Just come and have some fun visiting with him. His birthday was actually Aug 2

If you miss our famous Sluggo Burgers, stop by any of the OCHS Eagles Home Baseball games and visit the concession stand! They are serving the same burgers at every home game! (Minus our Bigfoot Brand though...lol)

Our hearts and love go out to the family of Tammy Hoskins. Tammy passed away this morning after a hard fought illness this past year. Our regular customers will remember Tammy cooking weekday mornings for us at Sluggo's Grill. Such a sweet person, great breakfast cook, and an infectious smile and laugh! Please continue to remember her family and friends in your prayers in the days to come.
