Job Title: Assistant Chef
Location: Center Sandwich, NH
Job Type: Part Time: 20 – 28 hours per week
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Chef to support our culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen operations, and delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the head chef in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including proper storage of food and supplies.
• Help with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Support the team during busy hours to ensure timely service.
• Adhere to menu specifications and presentation standards.
• Assist in inventory management and stock control.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a kitchen assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary training or certifications are a plus.

Location: The Foothills Restaurant, Center Sandwich, NH
Position Type: Part-Time 15 – 20 hours per week
Overview: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will ensure that dishes, utensils, and cookware are cleaned promptly and sanitized, supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using manual or machine methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas and equipment.
• Sort, stack, and store clean items in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
• Assist in maintaining overall sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods.
Qualifications:
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
