Everyone gathered for a moment of silence in memory of a longtime Celestine Community Club volunteer and dear friend to so many in our community, who passed away yesterday.

As the wife of Ronald Sander, she was a familiar face and a dedicated volunteer who gave so much of her time to the Community Club and our local community throughout the years.

🕯️ Tonight, for just a moment, the Club grew quiet as we remembered a woman whose presence, kindness and willingness to help touched so many.

It’s people like her who are the heart of a small community like ours — the ones who simply show up, pitch in and help year after year. Their contributions become part of the places and traditions we all cherish.

Our thoughts are with Ronald, her family, her friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She will be dearly missed by all of us here in Celestine. ❤️‍🩹

The parking lot may be empty right now, but in just a couple of hours we hope to see it filling up as Wednesday Night Shooting Matches return to the Celestine Community Club! 🙌

Our Lost and Found box is officially a winter jacket warehouse. Please come claim your outerwear TOMORROW Night, before the coats start filing taxes and paying rent here. If you won’t be attending the shooting match tomorrow, contact us ASAP —the next stop will be a donation center.

The Celestine Community Club Fall Shooting Matches kick off TOMORROW, August 26 and continue every Wednesday through November 25!

🚪 Doors open — 5 PM
🍽️ Kitchen opens — 6 PM
🎯 Closed Match — 8 PM

And YES… the kitchen crew is ready! 🙌 Come hungry for our regular chicken dinners, tenderloins, fish, burgers and all the sides you love — and, most importantly… save room for those homemade desserts! 🍰😋

Good food, good company and Wednesday night shooting matches are BACK!

Long after the last truck and tractor have been loaded up, the spectators have headed home and the parking lot is empty… the work still isn’t over.

That’s when teardown and cleanup begin.

This view from above tells a pretty great story — from the now almost empty campground, across the Community Club grounds and yesterday’s packed parking areas, to the track where volunteers are still hard at work putting everything back together.

An event this size doesn’t just happen. It truly takes a village. It takes countless hours before, during AND after the pull from people willing to show up, pitch in and do whatever needs to be done. ❤️

And just as importantly, it takes YOU.

To everyone who came out, bought a chicken dinner, brought the kids, filled the parking lot, cheered from the sidelines for your favorite truck or tractor and supported the Celestine Volunteer Fire Department— THANK YOU! 🚒❤️

Your support of events like this directly supports the volunteers who are there when our community needs them most.

The trucks & tractors are gone.
The track is quiet.
The cleanup is underway.

And another Celestine Truck & Tractor Pull is officially in the books. 🚜❤️
