WELLNESS WEDNESDAY

Your coffee routine can be part of your wellness routine too.

A few simple ways to make that morning cup work a little harder for you:

☕️ Choose freshly roasted coffee
💧 Start your morning with water, too
🥚 Pair your coffee with a real breakfast
🚶‍♀️ Take a little walk while that coffee brews
😴 And remember… coffee is not a substitute for sleep. We checked. 😂

Red Flannel Days was a SUCCESS! ❤️☕️

We didn’t post much because apparently the cell service decided it was on vacation. 😂📵

But WE were there! We had a great weekend, met some awesome people, sold some coffee, and had way too much fun doing it.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by AHO Roasting Co., grabbed some freshly roasted beans, said hello, and supported our little coffee operation. We appreciate every single one of you! ❤️

And because we don’t know how to sit still…

Same coffee. Two very different grinds.

Ever wonder why your coffee can taste amazing one day and… well, questionable the next? 😂

Your grinder could be the culprit.
Just look at these two grinds. 👀

The grind on the left is much finer and more consistent, while the grind on the right is noticeably coarser with larger pieces mixed in.

Grind size affects how quickly water extracts flavor from your coffee.

☕ Too fine: You can end up with over extracted, bitter coffee.
☕ Too coarse: You may get weak, under extracted coffee.
☕ Inconsistent grind: Some grounds extract too much while others don’t extract enough.

That’s why a good grinder can make a BIG difference in your cup.

And yes… even freshly roasted, amazing beans deserve a good grinder. 😉

Coffee tip from us at Aho Roasting Co:
If your coffee suddenly tastes off, don’t blame the beans first. Check your grind! 🐓☕
