Man… it’s getting REAL! 😭❤️ Our time in Iowa is coming to an end, and we’re getting ready for our big move to ATLANTA! 🍑

We’re sorry we haven’t been posting as much lately. Things have been crazy busy and exciting, trying to hit as many places as we can before we leave!

First we would like to thank everyone for the support and warm wishes for us and our brand Cafe Beignets! THANK YOU!!!
Today we are very excited to be apart of the science festival in Iowa city it’s our first event in Iowa City this year.

I’m sure it want be our last, we hope that the weather holds up and everyone has a great time listening to music and enjoying Cafe Beignets.

Hello everyone I’m sorry for my late post today. I was getting my thoughts together for this message update. This is a farewell letter our last day in the food court in Lindale mall.

❤️💜💛 A FAREWELL LETTER FROM CAFE BEIGNETS 💛💜❤️

To all of our amazing customers, friends, family, and supporters,

Tomorrow will be an emotional day for us as we officially close the doors to our Cafe Beignets location inside Lindale Mall.

But before we close those doors, we want to simply say…

THANK YOU. ❤️

Thank you to every person who walked through our doors. Thank you to everyone who purchased a plate, ordered a cup of King Cake iced coffee, grabbed a slice of caramel cake, or waited patiently while we made your beignets hot and fresh to order.

Thank you to everyone who told a friend about us, shared our posts, brought your family to see us, came back week after week, and supported this small family business.

You helped turn Cafe Beignets – A Famous Taste of New Orleans from an idea into something real.

And while tomorrow is goodbye to our Lindale Mall location, it is NOT goodbye to Cafe Beignets!

We will still be out at events, farmers markets, and pop-ups until it is time for us to relocate closer to our family.

Iowa has become home to us too, and we will never forget the love and support we received here. That is why we can already promise you:

And when we come back, Cafe Beignets is coming back a little differently…

🚨 WE’RE MOVING ON UP! 🚨

We haven’t publicly announced this yet, but we are excited to finally share the news:

🎉 CAFE BEIGNETS IS GOING MOBILE! 🎉

That’s right — we are purchasing our very own food trailer! 🚚💨

Cafe Beignets will officially be ON WHEELS, giving us the opportunity to travel, do more festivals, farmers markets, special events and bring that famous New Orleans flavor to even more communities.

And most importantly, being mobile means when summertime comes around, we can bring Cafe Beignets right back home to Iowa!

This isn’t the end of our story.

It’s the beginning of our next chapter.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Cedar Rapids. Thank you, Lindale Mall. Thank you, Iowa.

You supported us.
You encouraged us.
You believed in our little New Orleans dream.

And wherever this journey takes us, a piece of Cafe Beignets will always belong right here. ❤️

Hi good morning everyone. I just wanted to reach out to tell everyone. We are at Sam’s Club today y s today we are at Sam’s Club.
We have
Cajun fried rice with buffalo egg rolls /dinner rolls
Red Beans and rice/beef smoke sausage and Honey cornbread
Beignets
Ice coffee and more
From 12:30 to we sell out so if the weather holds up come through to all my red beans and rice lover’s.

Hi everyone we are excited to let everyone know that we will have the opportunity to attend Waterloo farmers market this weekend. Cafe Beignets will be back at the farmers market in Waterloo again this weekend. We hope to see you this weekend, it is getting so close to our departure to Atlanta. We are excited to bring our taste of New Orleans back to Waterloo.

As many of you know, yesterday’s farmers market was canceled because of the bad weather. Unfortunately, we had already prepared a large amount of fresh food and beignets mix, and now we’re trying our best to make sure it doesn’t go to waste.

Today we’re set up at Sam’s Club, and we would truly appreciate your support if you’re able to stop by.

We have plenty of:
✨ Fresh, hot made-to-order beignets
☕ Our signature iced coffees
🍰 Homemade caramel cake
🔥 Voodoo Nachos
…and all the favorites you know and love. Our New cake pops & our southern style lemonade.

Running a small family business has its ups and downs, and weather is one thing we can’t control. Yesterday was a tough hit for us, but we’re trusting God and our amazing community to help us turn today around.

If you’ve been thinking about stopping by, today would mean more to us than you know. Even if it’s just for a coffee, an order of beignets, or simply sharing this post with your friends and family, every bit of support helps our family.

We thank everyone for letting us know about West End it’s a beautiful place. But unfortunately we have the fryers so I don’t believe we can go there, but Today we are at Lindale mall in the food court.
Tomorrow we will be at Sam’s Club from 11:30 to 3:30pm.
At Sam’s Club we will have:
Beignets glaze or Powder
King Cake ice coffee or cookie butter
Buffalo chicken egg rolls
Southern style lemonade
Voodoo Nachos spicy or regular
Caramel cake
Cake pops

Hi good morning
Just an update about today’s market being canceled. It sucks for a lot of vendors and it’s great places are stepping up to help out that’s great.
Well for now we are still searching for somewhere to set up cafe Beignets today.
Until we do find a location when the rain stops. For now we will be open in Lindale mall food court at our location starting around noon.
We have hot made to order beignets, coffee, ice coffee,Caramel cake etc!!
