Our team recently had the privilege of welcoming home Veterans returning from the 60th Eastern Iowa Honor Flight. 🇺🇸

We joined hundreds of community members at the airport to personally thank these Heroes for their service, offer handshakes, and share 250+ DoubleTree cookies as a small token of appreciation. 🍪

The experience was made even more meaningful because one of our own team members - Travis - participated in the Honor Flight as a volunteer guardian. After welcoming home several of these flights in the past, Travis got the opportunity to go on the trip with a Vietnam-era Veteran to Washington, D.C. 💙

Throughout the journey, Veterans visited memorials honoring their service and received heartfelt gratitude from citizens, active military members, and fellow Americans along the way. 💕

We are incredibly proud to have been a small part of this special experience and grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much. Welcome home, Veterans, and most importantly, thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
