Breakfast Week is here! Welcome to Week 1 of Musubi Month.

Our everyday favorites—the Classic Musubi and Munchi Musubi with Kewpie mayo—will be available all month. But each week, we’re rotating in limited-time options to give you a reason to try something new.

BREAKFAST WEEK SPECIALS:

đŸ± Teriyaki Tofu — Our vegan option, featuring tofu with sweet and savory teriyaki flavor. Vegan or just curious? Give this one a try.

🍗 Sunrise Chicken — A pork-free option with that hearty, savory breakfast feel, without Spam or pork.

🍁 Maple Crunch — The wild card. Sweet, savory, and just unusual enough to make you stop and ask, “Should I try that?” Yes. You should.

But Musubi Month isn’t just about eating. We’re bringing you into the kitchen, too.

đŸ“± JOIN US LIVE ON TIKTOK!

We’re experimenting with making our own Spam-style luncheon meats from scratch. We’ll make a traditional version AND a chicken version for a pork-free alternative, taking you through the process and showing you what goes into both.

We’ll also be making our own vegan teriyaki sauce from scratch. Because a vegan option should be about more than simply removing the meat—we want to build the flavor from the ground up.

That’s what Musubi Month is all about: trying things, experimenting, learning, and discovering combinations you never would have ordered otherwise.

You can stick with the Classic you already love. Grab your usual Munchi Musubi and add a special. Try the vegan option even if you aren’t vegan. Try chicken because you’ve never had pork-free musubi. And if Maple Crunch sounds weird enough to make you curious
that’s exactly the point.

Breakfast Week is only here for Week 1. Then we rotate the lineup and bring you something new.

Come see us at Munchi Mochi, try this week’s lineup while it’s here, and follow us on TikTok to join us LIVE in the kitchen!

“I don’t chase power. I smell it. I find it. Then I take what’s mine.”

For Yamino Inugami, that isn’t just a threat. It tells you how he moves through the world.

Yamino can detect Resonance through scent. Power leaves a trail, and once he catches it, his instincts take over.

He tracks it. He studies it. He hunts it.

Fear, hesitation, weakness, breathing and rhythm all tell him something about what waits at the end of the trail. His heightened senses are only one part of his Resonance.

We call it Predation.

Yamino is an Inugami, an exiled Yokai and a wolf-blooded avenger whose nature is built around hunting and pursuit. More dangerously, he is drawn toward concentrated spiritual power because he believes power greater than his own can be hunted, devoured and ultimately made his.

That makes his discovery of the Mochi Warriors a problem.

He didn’t know Rex when he crossed into their territory. He didn’t know there were six Warriors waiting somewhere nearby.

He didn’t need to.

He could smell their Resonance.

And once Yamino finds something worth hunting, walking away isn’t exactly in his nature.

We wanted Yamino’s limited-time menu to carry some of that same energy beyond the story.

Try the Yokai Milk Tea, a black tea milk tea with strawberry syrup, non-dairy creamer, popping strawberry boba and a strawberry syrup rim.

Or follow something a little darker with the Moonlit Howl, a non-milk butterfly pea tea with lemon, lychee syrup and boba.

Then there’s Exiled, Yamino’s mochi donut: a peanut butter base topped with chocolate icing drizzle and crushed peanuts.

Three different flavors inspired by the exiled Yokai who followed the scent of power straight into Mochi Warriors territory.

Come into Munchi Mochi, try the Yamino menu while it’s here, and decide which one you’re hunting first.

Yamino can smell Resonance.

You can taste it.

08/31/2026

Something crossed the line.

This week, the Mochi Warriors story begins a new chapter with the arrival of Yamino Inugami.

Unlike enemies the Warriors have faced before, Yamino didn’t come looking for a fight.

He followed something.

Yamino can detect Resonance through scent. Power leaves a trail, and once he catches it, distance doesn’t mean much. He can track it, pursue it, and read the person carrying it: fear, hesitation, weakness, breathing, rhythm.

When he discovers the Warriors’ mark, he understands exactly what it means.

Someone has claimed this place.

And Yamino knows something about territory.

For a moment, the mark reminds him of something older. A different symbol. A different pack. A place that once meant home.

Then he catches another scent.

Rex knows something has entered Warriors territory, but tracking Yamino through streets, fire escapes, and rooftops quickly becomes something else.

Yamino isn’t running.

He’s watching. Testing. Learning.

Eventually, he stops.

Rex thinks he found one stranger trespassing on Warriors territory.

Yamino found something much more interesting.

“Six.”

“You. And five more.”

He doesn’t need to see the rest of the Mochi Warriors to know they’re there.

When Rex asks how, Yamino gives him a simple answer:

“You all smell the same.”

Not literally.

“Power.”

This is our first real glimpse of Yamino’s Resonance: Predation.

Yamino doesn’t simply sense powerful people.

He hunts them.

So when Rex tells him to keep moving, there’s one problem.

Yamino isn’t looking anymore.

“I found it.”

And this is only the beginning.

Follow along as we uncover more of Yamino’s story, then experience another piece of his world at Munchi Mochi. Try the Yamino menu, inspired by the newest character to enter the Mochi Warriors universe.

You may not be able to smell Resonance like Yamino can, but you can feel it through every bite.

There’s always a lot more happening behind the scenes than what makes it onto our social
media.
Some things are exciting. Some are still taking shape. Some involve a whole lot of
conversations, planning, testing, filming, creating, and figuring things out as we go. And like
pretty much everything at Munchi Mochi, it all takes time.
So we’re going to resist the temptation to announce too much too early.
Last week, we got to work on a little behind-the-scenes magic with some incredible women who
are busy building projects and businesses of their own. There were cameras out, drinks being
made, ideas being shared, and plenty happening that we aren’t quite ready to tell you about yet.
One of our favorite parts had nothing to do with what was being filmed.
It was getting to sit down with other business owners and creators who understand that
supporting someone else doesn’t take anything away from what you’re building.
There is room for all of us.
Small businesses don’t have to treat every other business like competition. We can share ideas,
recommend each other, collaborate, open doors, and celebrate when someone else succeeds.
We are a stronger community when we work together instead of dividing ourselves into little
corners.
For now, this is just a small peek behind the curtain.
There are projects being worked on, conversations happening, and ideas growing. When
everything is ready to be shared, we’ll tell you all about it.
Meanwhile, August is almost over, and we’re getting ready to say goodbye to a few things while
making room for all the fun we have planned for September.
Come see us and try something new. Pick a drink you’ve never ordered or a donut flavor you
normally wouldn’t choose. Bring someone who has never been to Munchi Mochi.
You never know what you might discover—or what might be happening behind the scenes while
you’re here.
Stay tuned. We’re just getting started.

“No dogs. No toys! Just US! COME, LET’S EAT!”
- Ajax
Ajax Drumgo has officially decided the War Dogs can sit this one out.
After weeks of bringing chaos to Cedar Rapids with Kathairo in his hands and the War Dogs at
his back, Ajax has finally found exactly what he was looking for: a fight that actually challenges
him.
And apparently, that makes him very, very happy.
This week, Ajax puts the weapon aside, sends his Dogs back, and comes straight for the Mochi
Six with nothing but his fists, his ridiculous amount of confidence, and that grin that somehow
gets bigger every time somebody hits him.
No backup.
No weapons.
No sharing.
Just Ajax versus the Mochi Six.
And while the Warriors are trying to figure out how to stop a man who seems to enjoy getting
punched almost as much as he enjoys throwing punches, we’re heading into the FINAL WEEK
of the Ajax Menu at Munchi Mochi.
That means if you’ve been telling yourself you’ll try it “next time,
” this is next time.
War Dog Fuel — Hojicha Milk Tea
Roasted, smooth, and made for anyone who needs enough fuel to run with the Dogs.
Lifeblood Elixir — Strawberry Rose Hibiscus Tea
Bright, fruity, floral, and a little dramatic. Ajax would probably approve.
Dark Heart — Dark chocolate mochi donut with marshmallow in the middle
Rich dark chocolate with toasted marshmallow, because apparently even a demigod with a
serious fighting problem has a soft center somewhere.
But Ajax’s time at Munchi Mochi is almost over.
This is the LAST WEEK to order the Ajax Menu.
Once this week ends, War Dog Fuel, Lifeblood Elixir, and Dark Heart leave with him. So
don’t be the person looking at next week’s menu wishing you had tried them while you had the
chance.
Come into Munchi Mochi this week, grab your Ajax favorites one more time—or finally try the
one you’ve been putting off.
Because every dog has his day.
And Ajax’s is almost over.

08/25/2026

WEEK 4: EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY
This week, the Mochi Six finally learn what makes Ajax Drumgo truly dangerous.
It isn’t Kathairo. It isn’t the War Dogs. And it isn’t simply that he’s bigger and stronger than
almost everyone they’ve faced.
Ajax loves the fight.
After everything the Warriors have thrown at him, he doesn’t retreat. He doesn’t call for backup.
He sends his weapon away, tells the War Dogs to stand down, and decides he wants the Mochi
Six all to himself.
No dogs. No toys. Just six Warriors against one demigod who seems to get happier every time
they hit him.
And the fight is brutal.
Ajax absorbs attacks that should stop him. He breaks formations, powers through combinations,
and keeps coming. Every time the Mochi Six think they’ve found his limit, those green eyes
appear through the dust and smoke again.
Still standing.
Still smiling.
But the Warriors have learned something too.
They stop fighting as six individuals and start fighting as one team.
Rex. Alistar. Cedric. Phoebe. Nandi. Zoey.
Six different fighters. Six different strengths. One coordinated assault.
And finally, Ajax Drumgo goes down.
The strangest part?
He’s happy about it.
There’s no victory celebration as the War Dogs collect their fallen alpha and leave Cedar
Rapids. The Mochi Six may have won the battle, but Ajax leaves knowing exactly what they can
do.
And somewhere beyond the city limits, he’s already thinking about the rematch.
This is the final week of Ajax’s takeover at Munchi Mochi, which means it is also your LAST
CHANCE to try the Ajax Menu:
War Dog Fuel — Hojicha Milk Tea
Lifeblood Elixir — Strawberry Rose Hibiscus Tea
Dark Heart — Dark chocolate mochi donut with marshmallow in the middle
Once Ajax leaves, this menu leaves with him.
Come into Munchi Mochi this week and try the Ajax Menu before it disappears. Don’t wait until
next week and discover your favorite was the one you never tried.

💜 TRY SOMETHING NEW. You might just find your new favorite.

We know how it goes. You walk into Munchi Mochi planning to try something different
and then your usual order starts calling your name. 😂

We love your favorites too, but every once in a while, you have to shake things up.

So if you’ve been eyeing those purple drinks and wondering what all the fuss is about, consider this your sign to finally give ube a try. 💜

Ube has a sweet, creamy flavor that’s a little different from the usual boba lineup, and we’ve been having way too much fun experimenting with ube-inspired drinks at Munchi Mochi.

And yes, they’re purple.

VERY purple.

The kind of purple that makes you stop and think, “Okay
what exactly am I about to drink?” 😂

That’s part of the fun.

Maybe you’ve never had ube. Maybe you’re already obsessed. Maybe you just saw the purple and decided that was enough information. All three are perfectly acceptable reasons.

So here’s our tiny challenge:

Next time you come in, try ONE thing you’ve never had before.

It doesn’t have to replace your favorite. You don’t have to suddenly become adventurous. Just branch out for one order.

You might love it.

You might decide your regular is still undefeated.

Or you might accidentally discover your new go-to for the next six months.

That’s how favorites happen.

And don’t worry—we haven’t forgotten that Ajax Drumgo and the War Dogs are still causing problems in the Mochi Warriors universe.

We still have the torch. đŸ”„

Ajax isn’t getting comfortable around here anytime soon. 😂

Come hang out, grab something to eat, order your usual if you absolutely must—but maybe give that ube-inspired drink you’ve been eyeing a chance.

💜 Come into Munchi Mochi and TRY SOMETHING NEW.

Then tell us what you think, because some of our best ideas start with somebody saying:

hear me out.”

“Well
that worked out better than I thought it would.” — Nandi

There are plans.

There are good plans.

And then there are plans where you mark the back of an angry demigod with his own weapon, stand in front of him, smile, and hope you understood the physics correctly. 😬

Welcome to Week 3: CAN A DEMIGOD BLEED?

The Mochi Six quickly learned that fighting the War Dogs is one thing.

Fighting Ajax Drumgo is something else entirely.

Ajax came armed with Kathairo—a weapon that, once it marked something, was drawn toward that mark with devastating force.

And Ajax knew exactly how to use it.

Phoebe went down.

Rex got staggered.

Cedric went through a wall.

And for one terrifying moment, everyone thought Alistar had lost more than his favorite helmet.

But the Mochi Six were paying attention.

Alistar discovered the secret: the mark calls the strike.

Nandi figured out the rest.

The coal tip makes the mark.

So while Rex distracted Ajax, Phoebe caused chaos, Zoey kept him moving, and Alistar held his attention

Nandi slipped behind him.

One broken piece of Kathairo’s coal tip.

One little X across the back of Ajax’s War Dogs cut.

Then she waited.

Kathairo knew exactly where it wanted to go.

Ajax just didn’t realize the target was him.

Turns out refusing to let go of your favorite weapon isn’t always a great strategy. 😂

One spectacular flight across the City Market later, several War Dogs became surprisingly effective bowling pins, and Nandi stood in the aftermath brushing dust from her sleeves.

“Well
that worked out better than I thought it would.”

Honestly? The most Nandi response possible.

But there’s still one question:

Did the Mochi Six actually beat Ajax? 👀

They knocked him down, discovered one of Kathairo’s secrets, and turned his own power against him.

But if we’ve learned anything about Ajax Drumgo, it’s probably not smart to assume the fight is over just because the demigod stopped moving.

Stick around for Week 4.

Until then, come see us at Munchi Mochi for boba, mochi donuts, musubi, and more. 💜

Come hungry. Join the Mochi Warriors.

WEEK 3: CAN A DEMIGOD BLEED? đŸ©ž

Last week, Ajax Drumgo and the War Dogs came looking for a fight.

This week, they got one.

Unfortunately for the Mochi Six, fighting the War Dogs is very different from fighting their Alpha.

Ajax is stronger. Faster. And every time Kathairo comes down, something breaks.

Concrete. Walls. Market stalls. Possibly a few egos.

Phoebe goes down. Rex gets knocked back. Cedric meets a concrete wall. Ajax stands in the destruction laughing as his pack closes in.

Then he decides to make an example out of Alistar.

Ajax marks him.

Kathairo comes down.

For one horrible second, everyone thinks they just watched one of the Mochi Six get taken out.

They didn’t.

Because the Mochi Six have been paying attention.

Alistar realizes Kathairo isn’t simply following Ajax’s swing. Once something is marked, the weapon is pulled toward that mark.

Then Nandi notices something else.

The ruby isn’t what creates the target.

The coal tip is.

And suddenly, this isn’t just Ajax’s fight anymore.

The Mochi Six don’t overpower him.

They work together.

Alistar gives Ajax something to chase.

Rex keeps Ajax looking the wrong way.

Phoebe makes sure he’s listening in the wrong direction. 😂

Zoey keeps him occupied.

And Nandi?

Nandi waits.

One opening.

One broken piece of coal.

One little X placed exactly where it needs to be.

Ajax knows Kathairo’s power, its reach, and what happens when it finds its mark.

What he doesn’t expect is for that mark to suddenly be on him.

And when Kathairo decides where it’s going next, Ajax makes one critical mistake:

He refuses to let go.

Turns out even a demigod can learn something the hard way.

This week, the Mochi Six stop reacting to Ajax and start understanding him.

They don’t know everything about Ajax or Kathairo.

Knocking down the Alpha isn’t necessarily defeating him.

But for the first time since Ajax Drumgo rode into Cedar Rapids, the War Dogs aren’t laughing.

🎬 BEHIND THE SCENES: MUNCHI MOCHI × HIDDEN 🎬

Missed our LIVE Behind the Scenes look at the filming of Hidden on TikTok? Don’t worry—we have LOTS of footage coming. 😂

If you noticed a few familiar faces missing from Munchi Mochi this past week
 now you know why. 👀

One of our team members traded boba, mochi donuts, and café chaos for cameras, call sheets, and long production days in Chattanooga, Tennessee, taking on TWO roles during filming of the vertical mini-series Hidden.

She served as an Assistant Director while also representing Munchi Mochi as a sponsor. đŸŽ„

Because apparently running an anime-inspired cafĂ© isn’t enough chaos for us. 😂

Munchi Mochi sponsored catering for the cast and crew, bringing a little Iowa—and plenty of mochi—to Tennessee.

We also had the opportunity to collaborate with Ambiance Media Partners and ATRX Live Agency, meet incredible people, and experience a whole new side of creative production.

We’ll be sharing more BTS on TikTok and in our Meta stories—the set, the people, the work, the funny moments, and the things that definitely didn’t make the livestream.

And yes
 we have footage.

LOTS of footage. 😂

We’re incredibly grateful to have been invited into this project and proud that our little shop got to play a part in bringing Hidden to life.

From mochi donuts and boba to anime, community events, artists, festivals, and now a film set in Tennessee—we never really know where Munchi Mochi is going to take us next.

Apparently, that’s part of the fun. 💜🎬

đŸŽ„ Want to become part of the story? The Hidden team is currently looking for investors, including Founding Executive Producers. Interested investors can connect with the production team by email.

Stay tuned. MUCH more BTS is coming!
