Good morning! Forgive me for slacking off with my postings. I am being asked if I am still taking orders and I most definitely am. Due to a wedding I am baking for at the end of September, I decided I might as well extend my baking cut off date until then. So, the for sure last day of baking will be Sept 26th. I will not be able to extend the date again, as I will be moving out of state.
With that being said, many of you have reached out to me about possibly buying some of my recipes. I have done some research and asked many of my customers what a fair price per recipe would be, and the starting price would be $100. If this is something you would be interested in, please private Message me or text/call 319-491-5184. Thank you!

This was such a fun cake to make! It’s too bad the Derecho hit and they never got to collect it. I lost power like so many others for several days and all my cakes, this one included had to be trashed.

Whoda thunk Banana Cream Cheesecake would be the one most people would order before I close my doors in September? Certainly not me!!! But, I have made more of these in the last few weeks than I have in the last six years! That’s bananas! 🍌🍌🍌

This came up in my memories. Even though I’m such a dork, it was fun to reminisce….

So many amazing people have come into my life since I began back in 2020. What an incredible journey this has been. I will be very sad indeed when I say my final goodbye.

I can’t tell you how much I love the people who I get to connect with, whether through my business or someone else’s….Linda came to town last weekend for a Scrabble competition. Now we play NYTimes version of scrabble online together. She came back to the store today to say goodbye.
Doesn’t this shirt look cute on her? I thought so too! She bought it in two different colors.

Good morning everyone! I am still baking and have slices, but I promised to promote other businesses and I want to continue doing so before promoting my own again.

Being from New York originally, I’ve been on the lookout for pizza that’s most like what I am used to back home. I have promoted a few pizza joints over the years, but Dua Pie takes the cake (no pun intended). I am beyond addicted! I love that I can order it by the slice for take out or delivery(via Slice app).

Their Spinach Rolls, Calzones, and Stromboli are just as good! I just had to try them too!

Super friendly, clean establishment. Highly recommend!

Another shout out! This time to two different businesses offering the same services. I hope they don’t mind me putting them together in one post, but I do feel they are both deserving.

Reader’s Digest version… in 2023 I took a spill and landed on my shoulder and tore a ligament…I kept baking through it. In 2025, I tore a ligament in my left knee, and continued to bake through it. Needless to say, neither injury was getting any better. In February I was gifted a Float session at iowarecoveryroom, in IC. If you aren’t sure what it is, you float in a pod for an hour in salt water which also has magnesium in it. Surprisingly, it was quite healing. In May, I was gifted a float session at cr_totalrejuvenation here in CR. I can honestly say that nothing has worked so well for me to reduce swelling and pain as floating in these float rooms for an hour or so.
Both Patrick and Josh were friendly, happy to answer any questions, and professional.

I personally felt relief after one session. After the second session, I let go of my skepticism and knew, these are places of physical healing. I highly recommend.

Edit: If you are claustrophobic like I am, they have whole rooms with larger open concept and yet still get the same effect.
