Looking for Bakery Cashiers

Job Description:

Are you passionate about freshly baked goods and providing exceptional customer service? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Sykora is seeking dedicated Bakery Cashiers to join our team.

Job Duties:

1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly demeanor. Provide information about bakery products, answer questions, and offer recommendations.

2. Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the cash register efficiently.

3. Stock Management: Maintain bakery display cases by replenishing products as needed to ensure a fresh and appealing presentation.

4. Order Taking: Take customer orders for custom cakes, pastries, and other bakery items, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

5. Cleaning and Sanitization: Keep the front of house area, including the counter, tables, and seating area, clean and organized. Adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards.

6. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about bakery products, ingredients, and special promotions to assist customers effectively.

8. Cash Register Reconciliation: Balance cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to the manager.

10. Customer Feedback: Listen to customer feedback and convey suggestions or concerns to the management team for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Passion for baked goods and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.

Are you passionate about creating mouthwatering baked goods that delight the senses? Sykora Bakery is seeking a dedicated Night Baker to join our team and contribute to our tradition of crafting delectable treats. While basic knowledge of baking is recommended, we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic just as much.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods, ensuring exceptional quality and taste.
- Follow recipes and production schedules to meet customer demands and maintain stock levels.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and equipment to ensure consistent results.
- Assist in ingredient preparation, dough mixing, shaping, and finishing touches.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with food safety standards.
