Today is our first senior sendoff of the year, and we are celebrating sahasra !
Sahasra joined Scoop and Score at the end of February, just six months ago. I’ll be honest: with her upcoming summer trip and her college journey right around the corner, I knew during her interview that short stints are not always ideal. But Sahasra interviewed so well that we threw caution to the wind and made the hiring choice anyway — and we are so glad we did.
Sahasra is a busy young woman, but when we had call-offs, she showed up. And if you know a small business owner, especially at Scoop and Score, you know that is our love language.
I remember coming into the shop early one day when Sahasra was working. The two team members there that day were deep in conversation about all the details of their high school adventures — homework, home life, and everything in between. Sahasra looked at me and said, “I’m sorry you are having to hear this.” I just smiled, because at Scoop and Score, we love these kids.
Honors Academy , you are getting a very smart young woman, and I know she is going to do big things there.
