one song for every stage of becoming. 💛

confusion. fear of the outside world. hearing my soul speak through the dark. admitting what I hid. and finally, standing on my own two feet.

what the body keeps walks that whole road in six songs. all of it leading to september 25.

if you've been following the walk, thank you for staying. the best is almost here.

half my heart speaks english. the other half speaks french. and somewhere between the two, the most honest songs live.

i've spent my whole life translating myself. but music asks for no translation. it just asks to be felt.

what the body keeps holds both of my languages. both of my homes.

there are five jazz-trained heartfelt musicians on this record. 🤍
.the kind of listening that only happens between people who feel each other.

what the body keeps isn't just mine. it belongs to everyone who helped it breathe. I can't wait for you to meet them through the music.

september 25. it's almost here.

Some songs refuse to be written quickly. 🎵

"nobody knows" the honest part of a song where not even the person writing it knows.

So much of who we are remains hidden from our own view. This song is about those mysteries: the things we conceal, the truths we almost recognize, and the secrets we keep even from ourselves.

"I felt seen for the first time in months."

Someone sent me a note last week, tucked inside a message I almost missed.

I read it three times. 🤍 Brought me joy to know someone out there is able to feel themselves, with me and through me.

If a song of mine has ever found you at the right time, I'd love to hear about it. Drop it in the comments or send me a message. You might just end up on my wall.

Some songs begin as a secret you keep from yourself. ✍️

I found an old journal page this week. One line in French, one in English. I didn't remember writing it, but I remembered the feeling.

That's where this next song started. Not from a melody. From a confession I wasn't ready to say out loud.

If you've ever felt something before you had words for it, this one's for you.

Come listen when it's ready. 🎶

"Et toi" comes out September 25th

and the last song? the one that makes you stand firmly on your own two feet✨

i wrote this album starting in confusion, moving through fear, hearing my soul speak, meeting my own walls, and ending somewhere i wasn't held back. by myself, or anyone else.

six songs. a whole arc of becoming. september 25, it's yours.

Some songs start as crossed-out lines. ✍️

I wrote 'et toi' in the margin one morning. I come back to myself. I see me in you. The things I couldn't say out loud.
