Explore the fascinating world of caves on a tour of the Oregon Caves led by a park ranger. Peruse locally crafted gifts and works of art in our gift gallery. Hike through majestic old-growth forests on Oregon Caves National Monument's well maintained trail system. Relax and enjoy a burger, a hand-made milk shake or a genuine, old-fashioned malt in our 1930's era coffee shop. Located just 20 miles east (view map) of Cave Junction, Oregon, the Chateau provides lodging and dining from May through late October. Please join us at Oregon Caves on August 30 and September 13 to learn about the many kinds of bats that call this park home. You'll see our experts capture and study a variety of bat species as well! There will be a short presentation outlining bat facts and the work we do at the caves.

Visitors are welcome to come and go as they please, but the events will start around 6:30pm with bat capture ending around midnight. Be sure to dress for cool weather, and we're excited to see you there!

We are happy to announce that Cave Creek Campground is open for the 2024 camping season! We have 17 sites that are first come, first served and are $10 per night.
