Every time a giant corporation gets bigger, a small business gets a little less room to breathe.

We don’t need more companies telling every restaurant, bakery, and coffee shop what they should buy, sell, or serve. We need more independents. More local suppliers. More people doing things their own way.

The best parts of our industry have never come from boardrooms. They come from bakers showing up before sunrise, cooks obsessing over their craft, farmers growing great ingredients, and small businesses taking risks on something original.

The places we remember aren’t built from a catalog. They’re built by families, dreamers, risk-takers, and the occasional lovable weirdo.

We’ll keep rooting for the little guy.
