Meet The Oak & Rye 🥪

Our take on a classic Reuben starts with corned beef brisket that we season and slow-smoke in house to make our own pastrami. We slice it thin and pile it onto toasted marbled rye with melted Swiss, sauerkraut, and our house-made Russian dressing.

Smoky, buttery, tangy, cheesy, and just messy enough to be worth it.

The Oak & Rye, served with your choice of side. Come try one while we’ve got it! If it’s loved it may just stay for the fall menu. 🧡🤎🧡🤎

So I’ve got something super different tonight. Sorry for the photo dump, but I was a little busy today. 😅

We’ve got Smoked Bologna, which is made into our trial run of our Smoke House Bologna Melt. This sandwich is a messy one, loaded up with thick cut smoked fried bologna, grilled onions, applewood bacon jam, maple Dijon mayo, melted together with Swiss cheese, all served on double buttered Texas toast.

We also have two special sides tonight, Smoked Beef Tallow Taters, and Brown Butter Fried Apples with candied pecans (yes you can get these without the pecans if that’s not your thing, but we highly recommend it.)

Come on out and give it all a shot tonight. While supplies last. We’re here until 8pm. ❤️

Tonight we’ve got some super special dishes cooked up. 😋

We’ve got HOMEMADE BBQ Chicken pot pie, which is our first take at a traditional pot pie, but a slight barbecue flare to it. Come get a slice before it’s all gone.

We also have our Kentucky Hot Brown and classic Barbecue Plate Dinners going on tonight and tomorrow.

Tonight from our test kitchen is something pretty special. These new sides will begin at 4PM. 🥔🍠

Sweet Potato Casserole - mashed sweet potatoes, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a finish of homemade brown sugar pecan Streusel

Moms Home Fries - chopped potatoes, skillet fried with our house made seasoning for a perfect crisp finish

These items are in limited quantities, so once we are out, they are gone for the time being. 🧡

Today I’ve made some white chocolate pumpkin cookies, and these may be my new favorite cookie. 🤍 🎃

Don’t worry I did make the classic chocolate Buckingham Butter Chips as well for those who aren’t pumpkin fans. 🍪

🍔 END OF SUMMER BURGER 🌿☀️ (9/1 to 9/30)

Summer may be winding down, but we had to give it one last send-off. 🍅

Our new End of Summer Burger starts with two juicy smash patties topped with white cheddar, applewood-smoked bacon, fresh tomato, pickled red onions, shredded lettuce, house-made basil aioli, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze, all piled onto a toasted potato bun.

🌱 And we’re especially excited about this one because we sourced our fresh veggies locally from Dennison’s Roadside Market in Hart County!

That combination of fresh tomato & basil with smoky bacon, creamy white cheddar and sweet balsamic is everything we wanted for our final taste of summer.

🍠 And YES… those are Sweet Potato Waffle Fries!
Try them with our NEW house-made Maple Brown Butter Sauce for the perfect little hint of fall. 🍁

Summer on the burger. Autumn in the fries.
