One of the fun parts about putting together this Field Guide is that it gives us an excuse to “research” places we’ve been meaning to get back to anyway.

GN-006 takes us just a little outside of Castroville to , where you’ll find them in both the “Where to Fill Up” and “Worth the Extra Drive” sections of the up coming guide.

And trust me… it’s worth the drive.

If you’ve never made the trip down FM 471, do yourself a favor and fix that. Good food, good people, and the kind of place that makes you want to sit around a little longer after you’ve finished eating and listen to the music on the patio and make social media posts.

A big thank you to Erin and Preston for always making us feel welcome. It’s places like this that make putting together this guide so much fun.
