To the person who just stole our Ukrainian flag… again? Yeah, we see you. 🙄
A few months ago, our Ukrainian Cafe flag was stolen. We brushed it off, ordered a new one, and hung it . Just weeks later? Gone.
Honestly, it’s exhausting. Between the stolen flags, the people flushing silverware down our toilets (after eating our food, no less!), and the prank calls shouting “praise Russia,” it feels like a lot.
But here’s the thing about the Ukrainian spirit: we don’t break. 🍋➡️🍋‍🟩 We’re going to keep turning these lemons into lemonade, keeping our light shining forth, and serving up the best authentic food in town.

The hate is real. What you see here, is a flagless pole. And what was there before, was a simple and beautiful flag that had sunflowers and said Ukrainian Cafe. And if you have eaten out our cafe, you know we aren’t political. We are simply just making and serving food that we know and love. Yet, someone actually went out of their way to tear it down and remove it. To us, this is just a simple reminder that there is darkness all around us, and to humbly continue to let our light so forth shine through or artisan and service. We sincerely appreciate each and everyone who supports us, and we are genuinely grateful for you.
