Never give up on your dreams. I’m just a normal human being over here … I don’t try to portray some perfect life online. I am flawed. I have insecurities. I’ve had hard days.

Starting a business was completely out of my comfort zone, but I did it.

Did you know when we first started out, we needed a loan to get everything going? We asked for $50,000 (I’m being open and honest because this is real life), and the bank came back and told us they would only give us $30,000 because BECAUSE and I quote, “We don’t think you will survive in Cashion for more than a year.” This isn’t a stab at anyone it’s a real story to encourage whoever may be reading this to keep going. It definitely pushed me.

Well folks… it’s been 4.5 years, and we succeeded. Our goal was to revive a small town with the meaning of community and I believe in my heart we did that. My heart was definitely connecting people together- building relationships and starting something out of the norm.

We succeeded because I believed in myself and because I found a community that believed in me too. Sure, did I make the best coffee when I opened? Or even in the first year… Hell no (sorry parents lol, it just fits there 🤣). I learned everything EVERYTHING through trial and error. And I would say 90% of my following kept coming back and believing in me OR you kept coming back because we had great conversations 😉! I know I messed up a lot- I am human, small businesses have actual humans working in there where we/ and they are not perfect. You let me apologize to you - and you let me try to fix it. what you did for me- I hope you share that love with the new owner because she’s fantastic and she will be learning too!

I just opened up and shared this story because for the last 4.5 years, you all have been loyal to your local business. You picked me up when I was down, and you celebrated me when I was up.

Kids, youth, and even if you’re in your mid-30s like I was… you can do it. Believe in yourself.

I’m not sure what my future holds or what I’m supposed to do next… but if you think of anything, or know of anything let me know 😉 I need something where I can talk to people 🤣🤣🙈🤷‍♀️

I am so excited for this new chapter for Christian and her family. Go follow her page and keep up with everything she has coming! I cannot wait to see the visions she’s already shared with me come to life and so much more. In the comments will be the ‘new’ coffee shop, please go follow and keep up with what is next!!

After 4.5 amazing years, it’s bittersweet to say that this Friday will be my last day at the coffee shop. Owning this small-town business has truly been such a blessing for our family, and I’m so thankful for every single person who has supported me throughout this journey. ❤️

Look where it all started. From the very first picture — when I announced we were starting a little coffee shop — to our very first day open with my 4 kids by my side. This is such a bittersweet moment for me. 🥹🤍

Many of you have already had the chance to meet the new owner, Christian — and she is wonderful! She has such a heart for serving others and a true passion for baking (including making dye-free pastries 👏🏼). I’m excited for you all to see the vision she has for the shop!

We are currently in the transition process of switching everything over, so please bear with us during this short transition period. The shop will be closed all of next week and will officially reopen under new ownership on Monday, June 1st.

Trust me when I say — it will be worth it. ☕️✨

Thank you again for loving and supporting this little coffee shop for the last 4.5 years. It has meant more to me than you know.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms out there! 💐

I’ve had the privilege of getting to know so many of you in our little community, and I truly treasure each one of you. I see the way you constantly show up for everyone around you, by supporting your friends, your families, your kids’ teachers… usually with caffeine and lunch in hand. (And yes, we know there are a few dads out there doing the same too 😉😂 - but you know what I mean)!

It’s the little things you do every single day that make such a big difference. The way you care for others, encourage people, and pour into this community does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to all the moms who do so much behind the scenes to make our community feel loved and connected. We appreciate you more than you know.

We hope your day is full of love, rest, and feeling celebrated. And good luck this week… we moms are going to need it… with it being the last week of school is always a little cray cray! 😂🎉

I use Piped Out Plumbing for all my plumbing needs but when I posted about my fridge breaking - he was so kind to come in and see if he could fix it fast for me- and he DID! He is local to Cashion- and he’s awesome and honest. Thank you!!

Four years. I don’t even know where to begin.

This little coffee shop in Cashion has been more than just a business to me—it’s been people, conversations, laughter, and so many meaningful moments. You all know this about me… I’m meant to be around people. I truly love getting to know you, hearing your stories, and being a small part of your lives. (Even if that sometimes meant the drive-thru line moved a little slower because I was talking too much—still working on that 😅).

These past four years have been something I’ll carry with me forever. I am beyond grateful for every single person who walked through the doors, supported us, and made this place what it is.

But life has seasons, and mine is shifting. My kids are getting older, schedules are fuller, and I know it’s time for me to step away from running and operating a business.

With that said, we are officially looking to sell the shop. The building and everything in it will be included—ready for someone new to step in and make it their own.

We are currently working on determining the value of the building and pulling comps, and we should have that information ready by this week!

If you—or someone you know—might be interested, please reach out to me. You can make it into anything you want! Make it YOUR dream like we did!

And truly… thank you. For the support, the friendships, and the memories. This place has meant more to me than I could ever put into words. 🤍
