MITHAI IS OPEN! Spectrum’s bargain cell phone and plan for the café was randomly directing calls to voicemail for at least 3 months, but since many only call back REPEATEDLY, I was unaware of the problem until a voicemail about no contact for days directed me to this issue in the call log. Additionally, I’ve been occasionally closed due to debilitating back pain. The PROBLEM IS SOLVED. I transferred the café number to my AT&T Iphone, and sought help for my back. LESSON LEARNED… you get what you pay for, and sometimes you can’t heal yourself. Thank you for understanding. Peace, Craig.👍

Our Story

Sweets open doors, hearts and conversations. In an age of commercialisation and adulteration, we chose to represent Indian sweets as they were before the era of mass production and McDonaldization… Mithai Indian Cafe is the Carolinas' first local artisanal Indian sweet manufacturer. We stay true to the purity and integrity of ingredients and feature authentic sweets, snacks, and vegetarian dishes hailing from the Indian subcontinent. All milk sweets are made with local Farm fresh milk from grass fed cows; all nut sweets are made with pure nuts and no synthetic essences. All sweets are preservative free, completely eggless, without any chemicals, shelf life extension agents, non GMO, without trans-fat; we do not use fillers to add volume, or emulsifiers and binders. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, sugar free and nut free options available.
