Our Donauwelle makes a perfect morning snack - it’s not overly sweet AND it has cherries 🍒
German word of the day: “Donauwelle“ is a word that translates to “waves of the Danube.” Die Donau is the German name for the River Danube, and Welle means waves. Therefore, this cake is an edible representation of the river 🏞️

This weekend, we’ve decorated our dog-shaped butter cookies to look like some of the bakery dogs! We think we did a pretty good job 😋

Stop by to check them out, and while you’re here grab a treat for your own canine companion! These doggy treats are sure to get some tails wagging 🦴

Semmeln, Schrippen, Wecken, Kaiser rolls, or as we call them, Brötchen - these little guys are a quintessential part of German breads. With a crunchy exterior and soft interior, they’re perfect for butter, jam, and/or Nutella 🧈 Also highly recommended for the classic open-faced sandwich!
